Everyone here is so helpful! The manager Brandon is AWESOME! They are all so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind! I needed my front brake pads changed and rear brake drums replaced I was debating on doing it myself, buying the parts and paying someone to do the labor, or taking my vehicle into a shop. I have a very bad back I've had 2 back surgeries already, last surgery was 8-9 months ago, my rotator cuffs in both shoulders ate torn thr list goes on, I decided I'd either find someone to do the labor for me, or take my car into a shop. I was asking the female cashier (and this was summer last year) if she knew anyone who was good at working on cars and would be willing to change my front brake pads and rear brake drums for some $$$ cash, or where and which was the best shop to take my car into. She told me "My manager Brandon is great at fixing and working on cars he might be willing to if you'd like to ask him?" I told her yes please! Brandon came out we introduced eachother to one another and talked about my vehicle and what I needed done. We agreed upon a price that I believe was very fair! So I purchased the front brake pads (and at that time I was told by someone else I needed rear brake rotors) and also purchased the rear brake rotors for my year make and model of my vehicle. Brandon came to my home in Tremonton a few days later to change and fix my brakes. He changed out my front brake pads without a problem, and then asks me " Did you have your car looked at by a shop and they told you that you needed rear brake rotors?" I told him no that I had put up a post om Tremonton Classifieds on facebook and someome offered to come by and diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle. Turned out that my vehicle does not have brake rotors in the rear it has rear brake drums! Lol After Brandon checked it out he said my clutch was going out. He told me if he was able to get all 4 wheels off of the ground safely or had access to a shop he could replace the clutch but sadly did not. Luckily I found a pretty good locally owned shop to go to. Now this summer/spring time this year a couple/few months back my brakes kept locking up, I had no Idea why or what was wrong. I took it by the shop where I had the clutch replaced, he said I needed the brake drums replaced. His price seemed higher then I thought what Brandon would ask for, I decided to ask Brandon 1st. Again we agreed on what I believe to be a really good price. This time he picked up my car drove it to his place that was just down the street, so he could drive it and get a feel of what it was doing and see if it would lock up on him. Not too long went by and he texrs me saying he's on his way back and that he had drove it around the block and seemed to drive just fine. He told me that I was extremely lucky especially having 2 young children because my brake dums especially the passenger side had started breaking apart, it was actually missing peices! That it was so bad once he got in there and could see everything that if I had been driving on the freeway at fast speeds and had to come to a quick or immediate stop my car could've possibly flipped and rolled! I was shocked and grateful I was able to get my brake drums replaced before anything like that happened. I hadn't pulled out enough money from my card at the ATM earlier to pay him for the labor and parts so I fallowed him and one of his friends down the rode to use the ATM at Chevron. But on my way to Chevron my car started acting funny the brakes locked up yet again. Thankfully they turned around, back tracked and found me stuck in the entrance to McDonald's. Poor Brandon repeatedly took off my brake drums and put them back on numerous times just for the same results. He thought one of my wheel cylinders was bad and also caused the brake drums to break apart. He changed the wheel cylinder. Still the same results. It ended up being my Hill Hold (which I just disabled it) &the wheel cylinder needed to be changed anyway so that was a good thing. No one else would've spent so much time&effort trying to figure out...
Read moreI am a Mechanic for Firestone. I had a check engine light come on in my car. I don't have a code scanner but my coworker does. He let me bring it home to check the codes. I had a cylinder 3 misfire. When I found out that it was just the wires. I replace the wires from AutoZone here in Tremonton Utah. I decide to go to Riley's to have them reset the code. So the sales guy took me out to my car hooked up the scan tool. He began to read off all of my stored codes telling me that that was what was wrong with my car. He said are you sure you want to reset the light. I said yeah I'm sure I fixed it. The point of my story is that this O'Reilly tries to sell you stuff that isn't wrong with your car by lying to you about what is actually wrong on a scan tool. So if you go there and you want them to read your codes make sure that they're reading pending codes and not stored codes. My light has not come back on. Don't think I will...
Read moreI’m gonna start this with (Never come to this store) I have tattoos and immediately got discriminated when walking in. My wife and I went to the oil section and got followed by an employee for no reason. After which I went to the register and they said the registers were down, did they think I didn’t just see another customer paying when I walked in 2 minutes before? After standing there for 10 minutes the manager walks over and rings me out no problem? Worst experience ever! Auto zone definitely has my business from now on. ( employee was very short lady with glasses and an older man) hope corporate gets...
