Most likely you’ll approach the campground from the west, so you’ll enter the campground via a left turn. The start of the entrance is a short bridge crossing over an irrigation channel, and it’s narrow for a two-lane road, so if there’s a vehicle already sitting there, you may want to stop and wait for them to leave before making the turn.
The campground is very modern, with asphalt streets and white concrete pads. The sites are on the large side for a private campground, easily long enough for big rigs and a decent amount of grassy space between you and your neighbors, which is watered overnight via sprinklers. Currently the sites are unshaded, as the trees are too young, so we were glad we had a 50amp connection to run both AC units as temps hit the mid-90s during our stay.
In addition to the grass at our own site, we were able to walk our dogs along the grass near the dumpsters and the pickleball court. There is also a nice off-leash dog park, which we used fairly often, but the sand in the park got a bit hot in the afternoon. The dog park is nicely lit at night but the lights go off at 10pm. We were not allowed to put up the dog fence we normally use around the entrance to our RV, but the manager who came to tell us we needed to take it down was at least nice about it.
The office has a small store. The building next to the contains showers and a laundry area as well as a social room with a few exercise machines. There is a similar building with showers and laundry on the other side of the park. Folks visiting campers at the campground can park in one of several visitor parking lots. Two of those parking spaces have electric vehicle charging stations, and during our stay they installed similar charging stations at campsites 9 and 10.
In terms of cell service, the best speeds I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay were 25Mbps down and 25Mbps up, though when we first arrived the bandwidth was terrible (I guess I was competing against prioritized smartphone users and losing out). So after that first day we could stream video with just the occasional drop. The one speed test I did with my AT&T phone showed 35Mbps down and 16 up. I did try out the campground WiFi on that first day and got 7Mbps down and 1.4 up, but on subsequent tries I couldn’t connect.
We would stay here again if we were...
Read moreWhat a lovely park. We have stayed at AGRV from May 15 to Sept 15 of 2020 which has been a tough time for RV parks to operate during Covid-19. We are a pretty self contained RV but the staff here, the managers we very helpful to us as newby's to get acclimated to the world of RV. Everyone of the staff are courteous, cheerful with a smile, and willing to go the extra mile to make our stay most enjoyable. We used full hookups, 50 amp service and great wifi that we used for both work and streaming our tv service. The park is quite, and except for the neighborhood July 4th celebrations, it was very quiet by 10pm. Being retired, they helped us with propane which is very heavy in the 60 lb bottles. And during slower times went the extra mile to give us packages or mail that came to the office even though they did not have to do this. Mr. Bill was always looking out for us and our dogs. This is a gem of a find when you are on the way to or from the Tetons or Yellowstone. Far enough away from the interstate to avoid the vehicle noise, but close enough that you do not have to travel through more than a stop light to get here. All sites are concrete pads, some back in or, like ours did, pull through. We do have grass that our dogs loved but the trees still need to grow some to give any shade. It is well kept, clean and perfect for a number of days away to do laundry, workout, and take a long shower for those that don't have the room in their RV. We have seen huge class A's, class B, class C motorhomes, Fifth wheels and bumper pulls of all sizes come here and stay. The only thing I have not seen is an old trashy neglected RV in the place. Some older but well cared for RV's have stayed a week or two so if you keep up your RV, don't hesitate to call them about your beautiful 2006 Newmar that is new to you. Rates are expected for the monthly stays for the area, but tend to drift up on the higher side since if is a new park investment. Only improvement would be to put grass in this fall in the dog park (grass seed and water, or hydromulch. Sod is too expensive) but again this is a small thing. A pool is not...

We stayed at this park from October 30 to November 6, 2022, I have to say it was a relaxing experience to visit this remarkable park. Our journey began with effortless online reservations through a user-friendly website that allowed us to secure a site within minutes. Upon our arrival, the staff's warm welcome during check-in set a positive tone for our stay. They provided us with comprehensive insights into the park and guided us to our designated site, ensuring a smooth transition.
Our stay at this RV Park was nothing short of spectacular. While we wished we could have extended our visit, the swiftly dropping temperatures prompted us to make the most of our time.
We stayed in site 21, a sizable concrete pull-through with full hook-ups, offering ample space to comfortably accommodate our rig, truck, and an additional car. Encompassing both convenience and relaxation, our site had a concrete patio with a picnic table and an inviting grassy area, ensuring a sense of privacy while fostering connections with our fellow travelers.
Our site was adjacent to the immaculately maintained enclosed dog park and was a delight for our dogs. Had the weather been a tad warmer during our stay, we would have eagerly seized the chance to indulge our beloved fur babies with a visit to the dog wash station. There are also designated dog walk zones scattered throughout the parl.
Beyond the well-appointed site, this park caters to every need. From indispensable amenities like complimentary Wi-Fi to thoughtfully maintained bathhouses and restrooms, every detail is attended to. The laundry facilities go beyond the ordinary, providing not only cleanliness and convenience but also a lounge area with a TV, turning laundry time into a pleasant experience. Adding to the convenience, an on-site propane station ensures you have everything required for a seamless stay.
In summary, if you seek an RV park in the Caldwell, Idaho area that effortlessly blends comfort and convenience, I highly...
