We ordered through DoorDash, so Iâm sure the atmosphere is decent enough. With the insane prices they charge for their dishes, the moneyâs gotta go somewhere and I know itâs not going to the food. We spent $60 got 2 of the smallest and worst sushi rolls I ever had that were drenched it chemical tasting sauce and an order of the chicken cutlet that was paper thin and mostly soggy breading. After calling to tell them this must be a mistake the snobby little girl that answered said âI packaged it myself and it covered the bottomâ so I tried explaining to her again that even though it covered the bottom of the container doesnât mean they didnât cut a single chicken breast into four thin slices and call it a serving. To which she snarkly replied âha, thatâs just how our dishes comesâ. After that interaction, I knew all I needed to know about what kind of people and place I was dealing with. As far a this being a healthy size potion, my wife is a nutritionist and when she saw the portions she laughed and said âwell at least this is enough for our boys. Theyâre two year-old and four-year-old... Save your money this place is a scam, they know it and theyâre not afraid to mock customers when you call them with questions...
Read moreDining area was the warmest sushi dining area i think I've ever been too. The girls waiting on us were nice but the overall service was very slow. There were 8 tables of customers and I heard them say a door dash order. For a Friday 6:30pm dinner it was not crowded, no waiting for a table so that slow of service was a bit unexpected. They did apologize. I asked for some spicy mayo on my spicy tuna roll. As you can see in my picture, they globbed it on! Thankfully it did taste good but I scraped 3/4 of the sauce off. The cucumber salad also tasted ok but it was cucumber pieces with fine strips of imitation crab in a ton of sauce. The sashimi was served room temperature. Thankfully I did not order that, my husband did. I have to eat my sashimi cold. He said it tasted alright, just warm. For a land locked sushi place, ...
Read moreIt's a rural sushi bar in Utah, so I had low expectations that they still failed to meet. Additionally, if it's always 50% off, then it's actually just full price, we're not idiots.
They seem to cater to local tastes or something; nearly half the rolls had cream cheese in them and were doused in mayo. The "spicy ahi tuna" in the center of the rose roll was genuinely made from canned tuna, making it even stranger that it was wrapped in a decent quality, generous bit of tuna. Only 3 pieces of our dragon roll even had unagi on it. I had one other roll that I can't recall the name of that was swimming in mayo and eel sauce. Raw fish tends to be a light and delicate flavor that was completely lost under all that sauce.
I won't return and I can't...
