Lane Glo Bowl South — Local services in Trinity

Today I called to inquire about a birthday party for my son. My son has special dietary needs. He is on a STRICK gluten free diet. I explained this to Chris man I was speaking with and he told me they offer no gluten free options and under no conditions would they allow outside food to be brought in. I was in shock! He then said he'd check with the manager and put me on hold. When he came back to the line he said after speaking to his manager they would "buy" gluten free crusts and the whole party would have to have gluten free pizza! I explained that the only person needing the gluten free option was my son, the birthday boy. The rest of the guests would eat the regular pizza that they sell. Chris was outright nasty and said "I'm tryin to help your son".... lol I write this review to warn other parents of children with special needs (physical, emotional or dietary, ect..) to avoid this establishment. Chris further went on to scold me about asking for "special allowances". I said that "special allowances" SHOULD be made for those children or adults with special needs. We have laws that protect the handicap. I was outraged at the way in which I was spoken too. Chris is a disgrace to Lane Glo Bowl South and he should be ashamed of himself. I called another local bowling establishment and they had no problem with me brining one small gluten free pizza for my son to enjoy along with his family and friends Shame on Lane Glo,...

Asked for a lane for cosmic bowling at 8:20pm and was told it’d be 40 minutes. At 8:50 I went back and asked how much longer it’d be as there were over 8 lanes that were open and no one was bowling at them. I was told I was still 7th in line. I asked how much longer it’d be and they couldn’t give an actual answer other than “yea it’ll be soon”. Found out through another employee that the open lanes not in use were all reserved, and had been since 7PM. Didn’t help that league was still going on, taking up several lanes as well. Left at 9PM to go to laneglo north, when I called them they said they had several open lanes and that they don’t take reservations for cosmic bowling. Laneglo south should consider doing the same.

Went here with my best friends for some late night bowling! I was really glad they invited me out because I was having a rough night and this was definitely the best thing to do. I hadn't been bowling in a while, but I loved the neon light glow and the disco balls. There are plenty of bowling balls to choose from, and my friends were both kind enough to show me how the heck to try to bowl (more experience wii bowling than anything else lol). The bathrooms were closed so we had to use the one in the bar, which was packed that night, but it wasn't such a terrible inconvenience for me.
