Zachary and Anthony were absolutely life savers. Our very first trip to Uwharrie National Park and we were stranded with a lug nut that would not budge. For over an hour we tried and tried. We were forced to limp through town with a flat tire from air pump to air pump to the only open place that could possibly help us. We struck gold at this particular Advance Auto Parts store. Zach never once hesitated to pull out the tools necessary to get us on our way. The lug nut never would come off, but he helped plug the tire and fill it with air so we could make it back home to Fayettville. He certainly didn't have to help, but he rolled his sleeves up and was down on the ground helping. He made a very bad day turn right around. We would later find out that the lug nut would not have come off due to the tire shop messing it up, but Zach's efforts were much appreciated and allowed us to make the drive home. Read moreThere ok I guess I have learned that these parts stores have gotten to the point where 99% of the people who they hire to to work for them have any clue of how to diagnose or repair an automobile. Every time I go in to Advance or any of the other big name parts stores the person who tries to help me is completely lost if the computer doesn't tell them what they need to know. I think that all parts retailers should have a policy that the people who apply for employment with them should at least have the basic knowledge of auto repair. I mean how do you talk to someone about what you are doing to a vehicle and need to complete the job if they have never touched a wrench or changed the oil and filter in a vehicle. But overall if the employee you talk to can't get the answer you're looking for on their computer 9 times out of 10...
Read moreCame through pretty close to closing. My clutch cable bracket had been left loose from it being worked on by a fellow shop. They let me find the correct bolts I needed, borrowed tools, showed me were everything is, allowed me to get cleaned up, flush debris out of my eye... and so on.... all filled in with great conversation... whomever those two guys were that night... they need to be recognized by corporate... I was lost with a broke down huge 6500 rollback 179 miles from home... thanks to them... I made it home by 11pm. Signed......
