Bojangles — Restaurant in Troy

The young girl operating the drive thru window wasn't exactly pleasant, although not entirely rude. She didn't smile, responded with a bland "yeah", and seemed irritated. Perhaps she wasn't feeling well. As she filled a drink order for someone behind me, the drink ran down the side of the cup. She first wiped in on her pants, then she slid her hand down the side of the cup. Much of the liquid remained on the cup, but I never saw her get a napkin for a proper clean up. I ordered and was charged for a 3 piece meal. Upon reaching my destination, I realized there were only 2 pieces of chicken in the box. From my observations, another worker inaccurately completed this order. All food ordered (more than previously mentioned) tasted as if it had been under the heat lamp for quite a while. You know, we always say when we have a problem with a business. This time...I want to give a big shout out to the Bojangles in Troy. All of the women on my shift at work went in together and bought chicken and fixings for the men for Fathers Day yesterday. I went last Thursday and talked to the manager and pre-ordered. I asked her if it could be picked up at 10:30 and she said yes... Well we decided we may need a little more food so I called back up there Saturday and luckily the same manager was working (so that's a little less confusing) and I added to the order. In all we got 3 - 20 pieces with fixings and 3 dozen of the bo berry biscuits. Believe it or not they had it ready by 10:35 or 10:40 which is dang good since they don't usually start serving chicken until 10:30. Part of eating Bojangles food is the variation in biscuit. In any location you can ask for a light or a dark (in color) biscuit. I prefer the way that the lighter biscuits look, and the darker biscuits taste.

I didn't request a color grade at this location. The biscuit I received was light in color, and on the dry side. Okay at best. Note that I find the fast-food joints that have consistent food, I have no chance of getting great food, and no chance of getting a dud. Just same old boring.

This was a drive through transaction, so I can't help with the eat in opinions. The drive through was quick and pleasant.

With a McDonald's, and a Wendy's as well as some local places for breakfast, if you have more time, nearby, you have a few options. For grabbing something quick, I'll use this Bojangles again. Maybe I'll ask for a dark...
