I found out about the Amber Sprott store via google search and it was the best thing I’ve ever come across on the internet! I was so excited to find a bridal shop on the east side, but after emailing Janelle about an appt I quickly had a million other reasons to be excited. Janelle was prompt in her responses, wanted to know more about me, my likes, dress inspirations, and her enthusiasm made me so excited for this dress appt more than any other dress appt I’ve had. Even over email she came off supportive, happy, knowledgeable and made me feel like I was her only customer. When we walked in to her store she was so bubbly and professional. She had the cutest mimosa bar, allowed us our time to go through her gown selection- we never felt rushed the whole appt. She had such a great selection of different styles- it was hard to choose one! I also found out all the gowns I fell in love with, she designed!! Janelle is so incredibly talented. I ended up falling in love and saying yes to a new design she had created. It’s perfect and a dream. The whole experience was a dream, really and I honestly didn’t know dress appts could be this nice and personalized. If you are in the Rutland Area and are seeking a special occasion dress look no further than Amber Sprott Boutique. Janelle the owner is wonderful, knowledgeable and just an all around great person. Her inventory is on trend, inclusive and always evolving. The experience trying on dresses for proms, weddings and pageants should be as special as the event itself and Janelle goes above and beyond to provide this for each and every client. Something special Amber Sprott does is keep track of dresses and proms as to not sell to girls attending the same event the same dress. While many businesses would do this for the sake of making money, Amber Sprott is concerned with making sure everyone has the night of their lives and does their best to make sure every girl finds their perfect unique dress for prom. The atmosphere of the space is clean, classy and inviting. The store is by appointment only, however in my experience they have been very accommodating to schedules and are always able to make things work. All of this provides a personal and stress free atmosphere for whoever is trying on their dress. I am beyond ecstatic with this place!!! Janelle is amazing to work with, is friendly, and respectful of your dressing privacy!! I may have scheduled my appointment a few months out from when I first started talking with her and even went to other dress appointments before her, but she was extremely well worth the wait!!! Not only did she find my dress but she exceeded well beyond my expectations. She is quick to respond to emails and is amazing at checking off all the boxes. During the months leading up to my appointment I was able to send her examples of what I was looking for, planned to wear with the dress , theme of my wedding and several other details. Janelle was great about being honest, direct, and managing my expectations of what I could get within my budget. You can never go wrong with Amber Sprott Boutique!!!!! I knew if she didn't have it with the first appointment, I could have scheduled another appointment and she would have hit the mark by the 2nd or third appointment because her eye for details is spot on!!
