Epic Worlds — Local services in Tucson

Been thinking really hard about how to write this review for a long time. I thought this was an awesome store. Got proved wrong. Owner is super rude and inconsiderate. DMs are the same. Players are rude. Owner and DMs lie to people about why someone is no longer in a campaign. Blatant favortism. Super weird hours. This is the third game store run by a man that's proved to me why I don't go to male owned hangout places. And yes, a fourth store also proved the trend after this one, but that's another story. I'm a slow learner, get sick a lot, and this was my only way of getting out of the house. Owner and DM don't care and only care about money, being right, and their storyline. Only thing owner is good at is selling stuff and making a deal. If you don't fit in, big oh well. :/ Edit: I forgot to add the sign in the bathroom is just phrased so weird too. Could just say "please lift the seat when going and replace when done" instead of "no matter how many ladies a gentleman thinks comes to this kind of store" old fashioned chauvanistic...

Having discovered Epic Worlds just a month after they opened(2022) I've enjoyed having a game store just down the street from my home. Jimmy was super welcoming and was able to put together (one of many) a D&D game I could participate in. Thank you Jimmy for making that happen. I joined an awesome group of players and we adventured with our "helpful" DM Jimmy (yes the store owner takes time to run games) I was sad to move away (out of state) but can say with confidence that if you're in South Eastern Tucson you will be in for a treat if you check out Epic Worlds. The store itself is really new, but it has a lot of potential. The "free to play" games are perfect for people who want to just hop in, have a chat, make some friend,s or play games with their friends. And the D&D and other TTRPG games this place hosts are great, The guy that owns the place is super nice and friendly, and helps people whenever they need it.
