Starbucks — Restaurant in Tucson

Normally this little coffee stand has great customer service but I just had an experience that made me very uncomfortable. My visit was June 2nd, 2020 around 5 p.m.

I went to the counter to order a green tea. There were 2 employees behind the counter, one was cleaning and stocking supplies and the other was constantly adjusting her mask. The employee adjusting her mask finally turned around to help me after a minute had passed. I placed my order for the tea but the barista just stared at me and continued to fidget with her mask and her apron. I thought that she didn't understand or hear me so I asked "are you ok?". She stared at me again, even looked angry. I repeated the question because I felt like something was wrong and she was making me nervous. Finally she placed the order and I paid. After paying for the order she said to me "Just so you know, I have severe anxiety and that kind of stuff offends me." I was shocked so I tried to apologize but she rejected it and said, "well, I'm still offended."

I felt so uncomfortable that I didn't even pick up my drink. I was afraid that she would have altered it in some way that would have harmed me because I accidentally offended her. Now, I don't think I will ever be comfortable visiting that store again. It was one really bad customer service experience. Normally the baristas are nice and cheery but...

I LOVE all the girls at this Starbucks! Journey is the best she is so friendly,anytime I come in with my 3yr old she pretends to be spiderman. I came in a couple days ago the line was long so I shopped first then I came to order but Journey had already made my drink. Employees like her are valuable and keep us customers returning. Jenn the meat manager that helps out at times is also AMAZING! I love these...

Was told I couldn’t call in an order because IT WAS TO BUSY !? Then when I walked in to get my drinks the lady had the worst attitude and sayin she won’t do it again next time because they are to busy I thought this was a business no matter how busy you are you always attend you customers with respect and patients never coming...
