Brought 14 Mustang in to have headers installed and was quoted $400 by the owner. Told them I would leave the car Friday for Tuesday pickup (Christmas was Monday). Called Tuesday AM as I was back in town earlier than expected to be told it would be done by 1030 which was fine. Upon arriving the gentleman (not the owner) told me it was $80 more cause of problem with bolts coming out on catylitic converter pipe that morning AND that on Friday when the removal of factory manifold that the drivers side O2 sensor was knocked pretty could and check engine light may come on. Sure enough the moment I started car it was on. Needless to say this is highly upsetting. Dealer with exhaust work everyday they should have known they would potentially run into an issue with bolts PLUS if owner who was doing the removal thought he damaged something taking it apart it would have been better to tell me that I needed a $50 sensor on Friday that at that point would have taking like 5 min to install new one then now I am en route to FL permanently to now pay another shop for part and labor probably about $150 bucks cause of this. Very unhappy with the way it was handled. Moral of this story is not only did I get charged more than what I was quoted BUT now my car is BROKEN also and...
Read moreAfter carefully analyzing my finances I realized that I can't buy a newer model vehicle so I figured I'd invest in my existing '09 XF. I wanted my car to "growl" in other words I wanted it to sound like a true V8 with a deep sound. This resulted in them removing the stock mufflers and installing some different resonators to get the perfect "growl" I was looking for. Now, I originally took it down to the Exhaust Works on Broadway that quoted me $450 to do the same work I got done at this location for just under $200!
Ken and Larry are great. They answered all of my questions and did their best to translate what I wanted into reality. My XF sounds super clean now, even when idle. It truly sounds like a V8 now. I will definitely go back to them for any future work on my husband's vehicle and I've already recommended them to my dad who has a few vehicles he may want to add the performance exhaust to.
This location is kind of hidden, it is on Fort Lowell and between Stone and 1st Avenue on the north side of the street. I actually stumbled upon this location while I was working across the street. It was the best discovery I made. They had a quick turnaround, be prepared to have someone pick you up because there is no waiting area.

Read moreFrom the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and attentive customer service. Kenny took the time to explain what the issue might be and scheduled an appointment for the next day. His expertise, honesty, and fair pricing were immediately evident.
I took my vehicle in the next day, and within 30 minutes, Vonnie called me and said, after the inspection, the problem was a simple fix, and my car was ready for pickup. She also informed me they adjusted the price accordingly, which resulted in me paying half of the original cost. This level of transparency and fairness is rare and greatly appreciated!
I highly recommend Kenny's Exhaust Works on Fort Lowell to anyone in need of their services. Their commitment to excellence, honesty, and customer satisfaction is...
