Update: (4/10/2025) Still a great and well organized shop. Thanks to Loreda, I was able to find a zuni carving and bird pin. Very fair prices for sterling indigenous made jewelry/artwork. You can make an appointment to stop by and see an item from online. Most items are new. Very clean jewelry. I was glad to see a larger selection of Zuni carvings than from my previous visit. The parking is best in the morning.

They have a variety of Zuni carvings. I had bought two. After arriving home I shared my new collectables with family. Unfortunately, we had discovered a part of one of the carvings had been broken off at some point and had been glued back together. Visiting Tucson this week I was welcomed at Mac’s by some really expert and smart ladies, who waited patiently through my naive and unknowledgeable questions about jewelry in general and the many striking necklaces, rings and earrings on display. With help I found a beautiful turquoise and lapis necklace, which — listen carefully guys — my wife said made her trip worth it (and she’s not one who loves my vacation planning or executing, without my coming thru with a very good reason😉)! And, when i walked off and left my credit card on the counter (you see why my trip companion can get impatient), they looked for it, found it, safeguarded and held it for me at Mac’s til I returned. The store isn't "posh", but these people know their wares. It isn't a huge shop, but their quantity as well as quality is well worth a look-see, before you head off to the more touristy (read same thing, higher price) shops in Tucson. The saleslady showed me everything, literally. She wasn't pushy, more like it was a fun working with me. I could not find anything like I "wanted", but she was happy to show me more. I finally saw a ring that called to me, and what's more was the perfect size! Their prices are very reasonable for the quality.
