Stopped by the upper crust to grab lunch after my piercing appointment. This place does not disappoint, I've been wanting to try this place for a long time now so I'm glad we did. walking in we were greeted by the kitchen staff and cashier they were super friendly and the location it's self was really clean. We're ordered a slice and a drink which was a total of $10 and a canoli which was 5.50 price point was not bad at all. This slice of pizza was HUGE!!! This slice of pizza was one of the best slices I have ever had in my life. Generally over sized pizza can be soggy and gross but not this one. It was perfectly crispy and the toppings and sauce did not weigh down the crust. The canoli was absolutely delicious and you can tell they are handmade it was not dry or crumbly and the filling was not dense or overly sweet. I'll be back again!!

Granted, it's been a few years since I've eaten at the Upper Crust. I moved across town. But, I was right there. I was craving my standing order: spinach and garlic. I went in. I was the only customer. It was 11:45 in the morning. I ordered a slice with spinach and garlic. For just under $10, I got this (photo on left) reheated pizza from the night before with spinach and raw garlic sitting on top of it. Based on years of previous pies I was expecting something similar to the photo on the right. When I got home and opened the box, I thought, well, I can salvage this. But I wasn't really into eating dry, day old reheated pizza. I threw it out. So, a pizza place I venerated and recommended to newcomers to Tucson for over 15 years, is OFF the list. What a bummer. Did new owners take over?

This was my first time back in many many years. The thing that stayed the same was that it's best to order a whole pizza. The slices are large for $8 but it's a toss up how fresh that slice really is. When you order a whole pizza then you are getting a better quality pie. I'm not a fan of their toppings. Again, I'd suggest just sticking to the cheese pizza. You can't go wrong with that and they do that pretty close to perfect. If you're from out of town then I strongly suggest trying this place. If you're from Tucson then it's in the same 'group' of types of pizza as Brooklyn but Upper Crust is a bit thicker. The salads are huge but are great quality! I'd give them 5 stars but it's the lack of consistency of the single slices. But that won't stop me from coming back again and again.

Man, food is delicious. But the customer service is horrible! Went the other day around 9:05pm and ordered a 16" pizza, paid for it and we were waiting for cups to be given to us for drinks and the girl named Hallie H decided to take a phone call from the store and let me tell you from the moment you walked in she had this ugly horrible face that she didn't want people to come in anymore. So anyways us waiting for her to give us our cups she rudely yells at us extremely loud "I CANT HEAR ANYTHING". I then tell her excuse me there is another polite way of saying to please lower our voices. She rolled her eyes at us and at then she realized she messed up as she realized she did not give us our cups. From there when she brought our pizza she handed it to us at our table didn't even have eye contact with us and left. I then proceeded to order 2 more slices to go and she rudely yells sorry we can't. after 9:30 we stop making food and turn off the oven or whatever its called. I said are you kidding me? You close at 10 and you stop making food at 930? She rudely just kept saying yep, I can only sell you one pizza and i'm like just give me that one pizza. she gave charged me and that's it. as i was leaving there were at least 5 customers coming in and it still wasn't 10pm it was around 9:40pm and she was still giving now the new customers attitude, one poor girl had a face like what the heck is going on and I told her don't worry she yelled at me earlier so she has an attitude and she said "I don't know what her problem is, I asked her about the pizza and she just turned her back on me and left me talking by myself". Honestly this is the worst customer service I've had in years. I used to work for eegees and it didn't matter if we closed at 11pm and a customer came at 1059 we had to take them no matter what. Even though i love the pizza there I will not be going at least until that girl is not there or she either changes...

Went with my 87 year old grandfather, my aunt, and my two young and hungry kids. Empty when we arrived, run by a couple of college age kids. Ordered a large plain pizza, sodas, garlic knots, and a meatball sub. The bill was almost $70. 🤯. The knots came out quickly, maybe after 8 minutes. The rest of the food never came. After about half an hour I went to check on the pizza and sub. They had "lost that part of the order, or it never printed" either way it didn't get made. They had a cooled pizza ready to go on the counter so I asked them to please give us that so the kids could eat and to please get the sandwich going in the meantime. They reluctantly offered to give me three slices of their jumbo pie to feed four people, then made it four when I pressed, incredulous and desperate to feed my children. Everyone was nice, but nobody really cared that this had happened. They did offer us a free dessert as an apology, which, true to form, never came. My kids were finally served a large slice of pizza each about an hour after we had walked into an empty pizza place, by me, because I had to go up and get it. I had to go back and collect the (small) meatball sandwich ten minutes later because, I could only presume at this point, that everyone was high AF behind the counter. While eating the tasty but long overdue food, a gigantic cockroach crawled out from under a wall into the doorway to hang out and watch us eat. One of the staff noticed, and calmly walked over, stepped on it and kicked it out the door. Not sure if this was the high or low point...

I ordered ahead to go pick up. Today I was not impressed, I got my cup for ice and soda while I waited for my order to be ready. While I was waiting this man walked in and pulled out some plastic bags and proceeded to fill them up with ice from the soda machine. The problem I had was he was not wearing a mask and he was coughing and not judging anyone but he was kinda filthy, he was touching all the ice and the machine and I asked the guy behind the counter if this was ok as like I said he had no mask, coughing and was rude. The guy behind the counter just waved me off like whatever. Then the guy getting ice got real belligerent and rude. By everyones reaction or non reaction I'm guessing he does this all the time. I mentioned the covid and the lack of mask and he just ignored me,just as the employees did. Well if that wasn't enough to not get a soda there anymore, my order was quickly handed to my friend so they could have us leave quickly. When I got home to eat my pizza it was hard as a rock like it had been cooked over and over again and again. My friends pizza was the same the crust was so hard it just crumbled. Usually I love this place and the pizza. However I won't be going back. The Pizza and the lack of care was enough to last me. Just my experience, maybe it will be...
