I drove an hour to Green Spa because Jessica told me that they had the PicoSure laser for tattoo removal. The device was NOT a PicoSure. It didn't look like any of the different machines I researched online and the benefits I was looking forward to were NOT described by the Cosmologist. The woman who consulted me (Jessica) told me I was likely to bleed and be healing from the dermal damage for up to a week with possible scarring. The benefits of the PicoSure technology are supposed to be a slightly pinker than normal skin tone for a couple hours not days on end with bleeding and scarring. She also said it would take at least 8-12 treatments when I was quoted 3-5 by 2 other professionals during previous consultations at different places. And most importantly she insisted on using a topical numbing cream because she told me repeatedly "It hurts A LOT" This is also not indicative of the PS tech. which is not supposed to require any numbing because the shorter light wavelengths aren't supposed to cause severe damage or even moderate discomfort. It all adds up to B. S. to me. All this woman did was waste my time by lying about what laser technology she had. I asked her repeatedly to prove that the machine was PicoSure but she was difficult and instead brought up 'before' pictures on her phone of people who had apparently left happy customers. Aside from the fact that showing me a 'before' picture has nothing to do with producing a document, serial number, or anything at all to plainly identify the laser she was trying to use on me, it was a 'before' picture of someone who wasn't even getting the same procedure as me, (they wanted moles removed, not a tattoo) and she didn't even have 'after' pictures to prove the effectiveness of their...

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I got tired of waxing and shaving, not to mention the red bumps. I wanted to start feeling confident in summer clothes, especially as a swimmer who often finds herself in a bathing suit. The only thing that stopped me was perhaps the fear that after several sessions of laser hair removal, that it wouldn’t work and I would have wasted so many hours enduring the discomfort of being physically exposed in front of another human being for x amount of hours. It was such a reassuring experience to walk into green spa for the first time, and be greeted with respect but also compassion. My shame melted away, the procedure was quick and virtually painless. Perhaps most reassuring was that the results were almost immediate. By the second procedure, I would say I experienced 40% reduction regrowth. The owner is so kind, caring, and makes good conversation if you like a distraction. My stomach was growling so she offered me a snack and sometimes thats the difference between a good day and a bad day. She even sent me home with a variety Japanese candies (which were so good, I will have to ask about where I can find them next time). Bought a Groupon and called to make an appointment. Set up an appointment a couple weeks ahead. I made the drive about an hour from my house. When I got to the spa I went to the front door and it was locked so I called their number. I said I’m here for my appointment and they didn’t have my appointment on file. Whoever I spoke to to make it must have not actually written it down. They asked if I could come back in 3 hours to squeeze me in MAYBE.
