A total random stop on my way home. Called out to Google while driving and said " find me coffee" and this is where s/he took me. Point for Google. I ended up at this quaint little Vietnamese cafe in Tukwila.

At the recommendation of the nice lady at the counter, had myself a salted coffee and a pork bahn mi. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that I should have gone with the largest size available for the coffee. It was really good and I enjoyed every sip. I've always enjoyed Vietnamese coffee but with salt... I have never. Now, I'm curious what would happen if I added salt to my usual ice white chocolate Americano.... 🤔.

The bahn mi was the usual, nothing special. Wish there was a bit more filling in terms of typical veggies found in a bahn mi. I found it to be more bread than filling. But it didn't take away from the flavor of the pork. I did like the flavors there. The baguette was crisp (almost a tad bit too much. At one point, felt like I was biting into crackers.)

The shop was clean and airy. I really like the sitting area with the window propped open. It sits on the corner of a four way intersection with no dedicated parking lot. It's all curb side parking which looks to be shared with a market next door.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit. Definitely am curious about adding salt to all my coffee drinks to see if it tastes even better. Drip and Sip Cafe didn't disappoint and I'm glad Google...

We stopped by on the way to Seattle expecting this to be a typical coffee shop. It's only after we got there that we realized it's a vietnamese cafe.

They had some really good Viet coffee drinks. We got the Cafe Sau Da (Viet iced coffee), a drink which is viet iced coffee mixed with milk, and another which was Viet iced coffee topped with egg cream. All of them were very good. The milk + viet coffee works well for someone who likes that flavor but doesn't want their drink to be too sweet.

We also got a banh mi with bbq chicken, which unexpectedly turned out to be fantastic. The chicken had a strong lemon grass like flavor which the youngin' was a huge fan of.

Would highly recommend. Friendly guy taking orders too, who let us try a couple of things...

Drove by this little spot on the corner last week and finally got a chance to stop by and try it out.

I was not disappointed. I got the pork banh mi. My biggest criticism of banh mis is when the meet is tough, over cooked or dried out. This was the total opposite. I not once but into a piece that was tough to chew. Also there was minimal fat.

My friend (who is Vietnamese) had the beef stew and complimented them between each bite.

If you're in the area and want a quick lunch and coffee this is the spot.

My friend and I showed up and there was a quick burst of customers who came in right after us. While I sat and ate my food I noticed that even though they got busy everyone was helps quickly and their orders filled...

Stopped by this morning and tried their egg coffee and their dac biet sandwich, such a wonderful breakfast to start! The coffee itself was really delicious, nice strong Vietnamese style coffee based and a delicious egg foam on top. The sandwich bread was one of the best I've had, fluffy yet still a perfect chewy viet roll. Meat fillings were flavorful and tender. Great balance overall, highly recommend them. Great location, lots of parking around on the street. Cute inside, lots of seating inside and out. Great for meetings or catching up with friends or work! They have wifi available too!

Probably would order the egg coffee without ice, it kinda stops the egg part from traveling down as you drink. Super tasty. The coffee will fight to get out of you, and be warned you have to go through the employees section to get to the bathroom. I had the egg coffee special. I’ve never had something like it before, cocoa, cinnamon, creaming, coffee. If you sit where I sit and other people are sitting outside, you get to look over their shoulder at everything they do. A free show.
