Target has great deals and usually offers great customer service. However, their lack of protection and lack of consideration has left me in awe. Someone was able to access my account without any form of authorization from me. They made two separate purchases at the same Target in a city that I didnāt even know existed. All of my purchase form a pattern meaning that I purchase the same items or at least purchase from the same categories. I mostly purchase household, self/personal care, food and occasionally clothing items. The items that purchased without my authorization were items Iād never purchased before. I called Target four separate times and the first and second times I was put on hold for about 40-60 minutes and spoke to 3 different agents and still they werenāt able to resolve anything. The third time I called I was on hold twice for about 30 minutes and then they disconnected my call. The unauthorized user used $16.05 of my Target Circle Earnings and $47.78 of my gift cards on the first transaction and $10.08 of my gift cards on the second transaction. Customer Service did offer to give me $25.00 but not the remaining amount. As per their investigation they could not reimburse my money because they couldnāt find evidence that my account was accessed without authorization. Instead asked me to file a police report. What is worse is that I am not the only that been put through this situation. Itās unfortunate that Target is not taking our claims seriously and is allowing our accounts to be accessed without target account owner...

They do not have any regard for customers and do not care about customer service, and thatās extremely clear every time I shop here. The final straw was placing an order for pick-up today and having the app not show my order after I placed it and was charged. When I called the store to see what was going on, I was told that they are not accepting orders at this time and thereās nothing they could do about it. I was given a phone number which didnāt work. I called back and spoke to a manager who told me there was a glitch in the app and explained the situation a bit more. I told her this should be explained to customers when they call instead of employees simply saying, āSorry youāre out all the money you just spent and out of luck,ā and the manager basically said that employees are confused and thatās why they say this instead of explaining. The idea that the manager is completely unwilling to have her employees explain a basic situation to customers who are extremely inconvenienced about placing an order that is not even available to pick up when the app says and not being about to cancel it says a lot about what they are willing to do for customers. I donāt know if she was just having a bad day, but as someone who works retail, I never treat customers like that no matter what Iām dealing with personally. She made no eye contact, and shoved my groceries with no care as she was done bagging them. She gave me my receipt still not even glancing up at me, and gave no response when I took it and said thank you. I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she just didnāt hear me. But a family member of mine checked out with her as well soon after and she got the same rude customer service with no eye contact and careless bagging. She even told her thank you and to have a nice day, and still the cashier gave no response nor eye contact. I hope she learns to be less rude to customers whether sheās in a good mood or not....
