Friday ordered mocassins at good price since mfr no longer sells to public, order marked as backordered. Phone sales said Monday this status would be updated. Thursday, tried to check on status, at least get tracking number off web: a) password no good, b) password not emailed me, c) HELP button produced no web page, d) CONTACT US button produced no web page, e) Nice phone support said status was still backordered, no trackng number, mfr. has the order & has not released any information. Was advised that it is common for purchasers to call in for an order update and either receive the order with no status update or wait until mfr. has time to make the item. Drysdales will/can not phone the manufacturer for information, so that the customer can decide to wait OR cancel & go somewhere else more business like. Have ordered these type mocs for over 40 years and never had such a bad business experience from all those other venders. I would say the value once prized is now overshadowed by lack of timeliness. The phone service nice but no help. The website could be improved by a 3rd grader. Lots of emails but the only one valued was that I contacted Minnetonka myself, got a tracking # same day. Read moreThe service I received the two times I have ever been inside this location was bitter sweet. I called and inquired about their boot stretching. I bought some Doc Martens from a different company and needed help breaking them in. When I dropped my boots off the younger lady who helped me was so nice and really personable. She assured me my boots were in great hands and I could pick them up. The next morning when I picked them up from the Manager it wasn't as nice as a experience. I tried on my shoes and was quickly escorted out of the store. So much so that I left my phone. I'm not sure if it's policy to be escorted out of the store after picking up boots but I had the feeling I was not wanted there. Read moreThe only reason why I'm leaving any stars at all is because the initial sales person did a great job helping out, showed all the jeans sales and he was definitely cool to work with.
Where I am taking away stars is at the checkout process. They would not price match on online competitor for a $15 difference, so we decided not to buy that item. Upon checkout they give me a coupon for $15 off an item of 50 or more ( which would've bought the item they weren't willing to price match )
The manager and 4 other cashiers were just hanging out at the front counter being fairly obnoxious and I honestly didn't seem too friendly during the cash out process. This is why I usually buy things online so I don't have to deal with sub poor customer service and I usually get a better price....
