If I could give a lower rating than this I WOULD! If you want an irritating, frustrating, ugly experience this is the place for you! I don't give this rating from just one experience either! EVERY SINGLE TIME I've ever been in this place I left angry and frustrated. My husband and I like to go in and look at what they've got for sale in here from time to time. It's 2 seconds from a Walmart Supercenter we used to live near. And, even as embarrassing as pawning your belongings is, I've been in situations that this was the option I chose. This place is always busy, but that's just the way it appears! They have new workers every time I go in so I know their turnover is unbelievably ridiculous! Honestly, I can't figure out how they stay in business! When you go in, you get in line and there's always a line. Most times I'm standing in line at least 15 mins before I get any kind of help at all. There's usually a couple of employees at registers chatting it up with whoever they're "helping" and they're oblivious to anything else that's going on in the store. The Last time I was there, AND IT WAS THE LAST TIME, I'd been waiting in line to get my things out of pawn for at least 20 minutes while my husband waited in the car. I was next in line and at the last minute this lady walked up to the counter and THE GIRL STARTED HELPING HER away from the register!!!! Just walked right up and got helped IN FRONT OF ME! I blew a gasket out couldn't be helped. I'm embarrassed that I lost my cool like that but they'd had this coming for a long time. I told the girl if she'd been paying attention to anything going on in that store she'd have known how long I'd been waiting. She was soooooo rude and actually started shouting at me 🤬 this sort of thing happens often at this establishment and I would advise against doing any kind of business here. They're lazy, rude, and extremely unprofessional. There are other locations nearby that are much more customer-oriented and I would suggest looking them up. I myself will never go in there again because my time is a lot more valuable to me than this place acknowledges. It's no wonder there is never a familiar face...
Read moreI happened to have visited this particular store with my brother, who apparently had just came in town for his birthday. I am a regular at this particular store, so I was quite excited when he had found a pair of sneakers that were to his exact fitting so, we went ahead and put a layway on it.
First forward, I came to pick up the sneakers on March the 19th 2025 at 2pm and to my amusement, it took longer than 35 minutes to get the pair from the back ( yet the store was empty). When the store personnel came with an enclosed box, it was totally a different pair ( pink to be exact, yet my original pair was black with white Nike label).
I was very disappointed but because I was on my lunch break from work and had to go back, I told the associate that I would return the next day to get the correct pair .
The following day on 03/20/2025, at 12:45pm. I was at the store and explained to the store representative that I was given a wrong pair of shoes PLUS, the receipt wasn't even matching with the shoe. He took the receipt, went to the back room and after 10 minutes, came back with a stapled pair in a box, this time not only a wrong pair but a size bigger too (my initial pair on layaway was size 9 and here he had a size 10). When I told him that was still the wrong pair, he was very rude and combative about it, and insisted that they DO NOT keep different pairs and I should be ok with that, if NOT, he was willing to issue a refund.
As a conclusion, I feel like the store had probably sold my pair in layaway and had no decency of addressing it, which is not only UNETHICAL but also, ILLEGAL!
The management team, specifically at this particular store should be ashamed of themselves.
I will be seeking further legal action on this...
Read moreI can’t believe what just happened. I went in to sell my MacBook Air that I’ve had since I began college in 2020. It’s old, I’m not expecting a lot, that was not the issue.
The issue is that a different pawn put a password on my Mac, so when the worker tried to help me he asked for it. It wouldn’t work. I turned MY OWN laptop back to MYSELF so I could look at it. He swatted my hand away. Why would he make physical contact with me? Not sure, since I was touching my own things. (Keep in mind he already seemed annoyed to help from the get go, “i just clocked in when you walked in”. Great. Get working.)
I let it go, and said “Thanks, I know there’s nothing you can do if it has a password.” And turned to leave. As I’m leaving he says, “Good luck with that! And where ever you got it from.” Under his breath, loud enough I heard it.
I was appalled, I had just been there with my boyfriend and didn’t receive this kind of treatment. Guess that shows you what they...
