Coney I-Lander — Restaurant in Tulsa

I just wanted to comment on the negative experience me and my four daughters had in this establishment yesterday. One of my girls asked where the bathroom was and a older Caucasian guy working the drive thru made what he thought was a joke saying and i quote " i would tell her out back but she's to young to remember those days" mind you we are African American. Although his comments upset me i still sat down with my girls and i to eat. A few mintutes into eating i bit into a coney and a very long piece of hair i had to pull from my mouth i was disgusted!!! At thia point im just holding the hair looking at it when i here the staff behind us at register just looking and laughing. I was so upset i had the girls throw the food away and just left without saying anything but leaving the long piece of hair on a napkin on the table. I had to leave before my daughter's see their mom act a complete fool up in here! We will never go back to this establishment!!! $40...

3 stars for the food because I haven't had it since 2005 and I was SOOOO LOOKING FORWARD to being in Tulsa and having Coney's with my cousin. Something has changed with the chili. It didn't taste the same. My cousin who lives in Tulsa, agreed that it tastes differently these days. HOT DOGS ARE NOT BAD. WITHOUT THE EXPECTATION of having the prior flavor BURNED into my memory, I would give them a 5. But although they were fresh and still yummy, the chili was different. The service is STILL super fast and friendly. If you like hot dogs, you'll still enjoy Coney I-Lander. If you're visiting and haven't had them in a while, just bite in with an open mind and enjoy the soft buns, finely shredded cheese and a slightly different chili taste. Love coney island and the food is so good. We've been a fan for years.The one in owasso has the rudest manager. Can i get a coney minus the rude and disrespectful manager? Please. Dont go there if you like your coneys a certain way she cant stand it. Its happened SEVERAL times not just to me i see how she treats her employees and other customers. Shes been nice to me a few times but i stand up to her and she dont like it. She can dish it out but cant take it. I believe her name is cheryl. We live in owasso but dont like our day ruined which seems to be her goal not coneys and customer service. so we have to travel out of town because the district manager seems to not care enough to take care of the problem. Been waiting on a call back for over a month ridiculous. UPDATE....I FINALLY GOT A CALL BACK..THANK YOU...
