I will never step foot back in this Kroger! I asked an employee about a price on an item I had scanned that was supposed to be half off but wasn't ringing up right. This girl had the worst attitude I have ever seen in customer service from the start. She has to go get a co-worker to help her and the whole time she is talking loud saying to the other worker "she better come over here cause she not dealing with me....someone who can't understand what she is looking at" She was basically telling everyone up front i was stupid. Ok she gets back with the other girl who isn't near as rude but still wasn't understanding the issue. The original girl is telling her what she thinks is right but wouldn't let me explain what i was seeing. So I speak up to try explain my issue and I go to point at the screen then this low life grabs my arm and pushes it away. In what world is this acceptable? We literally almost got in a physical fight right in the store. And not a single person had anything to say to her about grabbing a customer and pushing their arm away. Then wanting to fight.What the hell has happened to this Kroger?? I know the employee pool is small nowadays but you have to have better candidates than this little immature girl with her an attitude that belongs nowhere near customer service. This is a new low and I truly didn't expect this mess to be tolerated at Kroger.    Read moreI really appreciate that during these times of inflation that Kroger is really doing a really great job on their weekly deals with prices that just about any family can afford and so they deserve gratitude for that definitely. The two stores in Tupelo, MS always appear very clean, organized, and well stocked. So why only two stars? Customer service!! Unfortunately the customer service is terrible especially if you are needing assistance of any kind or are trying to navigate through the isles that an associate has chosen to stop and gab with another associate, on their phone, or even working to fulfill online orders because they will not move, will not acknowledge your existence, and certainly wonât budge so you can get through!! And special services such as the floral department will leave you standing their waiting and watching a handful of employees nearby suddenly scatter away like cockroaches when you turn the lights on!! Even the manager will pass by within 5-7 feet of you not once but three times!! I can accept and understand items being out of stock or dirty floors because itâs a busy store, but a total lack of quality customer service I donât tolerate very well because I have held several positions in customer service and itâs not hard at all to be nice, or to be helpful, or even respectful and by now we all know very well that a businessâ customer service is the most important factor in their success...
   Read moreBad experience with pickup! My order was scheduled for 8-9pm. When I arrived to the store, I did not have the option to check in. I had to get out of my car with child and hope that the young man that was standing outside was from the pickup dept or could help me (apparently he was with pickup). I told him my issue in not being able to check in. While being very nonchalant, he gave me a random answer about my order. He said that heâd already closed out my order. Now, this has also happend to my handicapped mother-n-law who sent son to pick up her order one day (who wasnât able to check in and was told by staff the order was closed out before pickup). In speaking with the manager in the pickup dept., she Was not helpful at all. She was very argumentative than concerned about helping to resolve the matter. As a customer telling her what I wanted she could have stated the options to get the issue resolved. Instead, she was all over the place. The manger mentioned that if you click âon my wayâ to store and your payment is with EBT that the customer will no longer be able to see a check in button on cellular device. Note: as a faithful shopper of Kroger, I have never seen this before nor had this issue prior to this incident.
