If you're in Tupelo and craving an incredible burger experience, Bulldog Burger is the place to go! From the moment you walk in, the contemporary bar catches your eye, with sleek, modern décor and a welcoming ambiance. The dining area is spacious yet cozy, with a perfect mix of casual and upscale vibes--great for both a night out with friends or a laid-back meal with family.
One of the highlights of our visit was their impressive beer selection. They offer extensive microbrew and craft beer options, including beer flights for those who love to sample a variety. It's a great way to find your new favorite brew while enjoying some seriously delicious food.
We started with the pretzel bites, which were phenomenal. Warm and soft on the inside, crispy and perfectly salted on the outside, they came with a house-made fondue that was rich and creamy, alongside a tangy whole grain mustard that added the perfect bite. Definitely a must-try appetizer!
For the main course, we had two incredible burgers. The Lauren Burger was a masterpiece--crispy bacon, melted cheddar cheese, fried avocado (yes, fried avocado!), crispy onions, and BBQ ranch all packed into one juicy bite. The flavors balanced perfectly, with the crunch of the onions and creaminess of the avocado taking it to the next level. We also tried the Good Mornin' Burger, which lived up to its name. The combination of bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy potato hash, and a perfectly fried egg made for the ultimate breakfast-inspired burger. Every bite was packed with flavor!
To top it all off, we had the key lime pie for dessert, and it did not disappoint. The tart, refreshing key lime filling paired beautifully with the buttery, crumbly graham cracker crust--it was the perfect sweet finish to an already amazing meal.
And a special shout-out to Malori, our server, who was absolutely fantastic! She was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations, ensuring our experience was top-notch.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Bulldog Burger is a must-visit spot in Tupelo. Great food, great beer, and even better service--what more could...
Read moreWe decided to hop off the Natchez Trace for a meal in Tupelo (a town to which we’d never been); we found Bulldog Burger Company on Google and decided to give it a go - we were definitely rewarded for trying something local! As a party of three with a young child, picking a restaurant out of the fray of Google to drop in when everyone is hangry after a long drive can be a risky endeavor, but the staff was quick to welcome us and get the meal moving along. Our waitress Courtney was perfect - hitting all the necessary points of service while being friendly and quick to recognize that we were new to their restaurant. My wife’s neat gin & tonic was perfect, as was her Bulldog Burger - she remarked that every ingredient was fresh and perfectly incorporated: no weak veggies, no cheap tasteless cheese - just a great burger made exactly right. I went a little deeper into the menu and came up with the Full of Bologna Burger - it was adventurous while still being familiar enough to remain safely in the comfort food category. A telltale sign of a kitchen staff that gets it: perfectly crisp Tater tots that aren’t greasy - and this place had that in spades! After we finished our meals the manager stopped by to clear the table and noted that first time guests get a free dessert - we took her up on the offer and were blown away by the donut bread pudding. Seriously: try the bread pudding. I trained waitstaff for years earlier in my life, and I’m telling you this place has an attitude of service, a well-trained and focused staff, and does the modern/fast-casual/pub/burger thing...
Read moreOnce again, Bulldog Burger did not disappoint. My wife and I drive through Tupelo every year for our vacation, and we now make it a point to stop at Bulldog Burger in Tupelo every time for lunch.
I get The Bryant burger and she gets the Honey Glazed Chicken Sandwich. The Bryant has a bourbon sauce/glaze that is absolutely delicious. So delicious, I recommend even asking for an extra side of it. Each bite of The Bryant is going to take you on a journey. It will have you rockin’ and rollin’ like Elvis Presley himself.
My wife gets the Honey Glazed Chicken sandwich and she might love it more than iced coffee, which I thought to be impossible. She doesn’t quite love it as much as she loves me though, so at least I’m holding strong there, but MAN, if this place keeps knocking our socks off with this smacking amazing food, I might be chopped liver soon!!
I’m mostly kidding. She wouldn’t do that to me. BUT it’s worth noting she has asked to drive 7 hours to Tupelo just to eat here for her birthday. Take that, iced coffee.
All of this to say, this place absolutely rocks. The staff is amazing and they deserve the moon and stars.
While Tupelo may be home to Elvis’ birthplace….it’s also home to a different “dog”. No, not a hound dog, like Elvis’ famous song, but instead….a bulldog. Bulldog Burger. I tried to be clever there. Anyway, highly recommend, if you’re still reading. Management, if you see this, you are amazing. See y’all next time we...
