Turlock Cinema Plaza — Local services in Turlock

Located just out of town in a small shopping center with Subway, Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant, Starbucks, La Taqueria, Sonic Drive In, Huckleberry Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant, Arco AM/PM mini Mart; across the street are Carl's Jr, Hot Rod Diner, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Chevron/Extra Mile mini mart. The shopping center also has other stores. Regal Cinema has 14 screens of various sizes with the usual concessions. As a bus rider I prefer to take 1 bus and then walk to my destination. The Turlock Cinema Plaza just outside of town requires 2 busses. On a good day when I feel like walking it's a good walk. If your driving there is easy access to Highway 99. I recommend the Turlock Cinema Plaza. If you like to gamble and play cards there is the Turlock Poker Room with bar and jukebox (no food); although they allow you to eat your outside food there (that's what the security guard said). So this is the Plaza located out West Main that includes the movie theatre of course as well as a poker/card room. Same one that was once located on Main st. Still West Main but almost to the East Main part across from Cost less market. There are no slots just tables. Several people I know frequent this place and do pretty good but I Prob lay only hear when they win and not all the times they leave with their tail between their legs in shame at the amount they have lost. Also located out there is a Starbuck, a Subway I think and a few other establishments. Tractor feed store is out there as well. Great place to get propane tanks refilled by the way. Great taco shop in the parking lot. Sort of pricy compared to taco trucks...

Theater always clean & staff very nice. We buy monthly tickets, so we never have to stand in line. Theater attendance is starting to pick up but not the same as prior to covid. I just hope they don't close it cause I don't want to have to go to Modesto theaters. They are not as clean. Downtown pain is pain. I don't know if the parking garage is still reimbursed by theater. The other theater is smaller than Turlock. So, not as many movies are offered. Theaters usually lot more people o prefer less. Their also not as clean. Lines @ concession is always too long. Plus, it's like a 20-mile...
