This 5-Star review is VERY contextual. This bar is inexpensive, has an above average beer selection, full bar, the staff is friendly, and the clientele is both diverse and often friendly. It seems odd that a bar with no food (other than bagged chips) situated next to a movie theater with a pass-through to the attached card room would receive such positive reviews, but c’mon, this is Turlock. There is no other place in town that has BOTH a quality selection of beer, and have-a-good-time happy hour prices. Local 16 oz brew cost 2.50 at happy hour and the bartenders are very friendly...

Ive never had bad experience with The Rail. Even when girls come in and dont know what they want (something fruity) type thing. They charge casino style, charge you for shot, the soda or juice mixer is free. Fiancé gets drunk on $20 and I play blackjack to pay for her...

Worst bar ever, I'm from San Jose California, this place is terrible with security and the worst taking care of incidents, my cousin was assaulted by a grown man and the police wouldn't do anything but take sides with the aggressiveer. Move somewhere...
