Entering the store, greeted promptly by a very knowledgeable and friendly young man. Was interested in purchasing hoop inside out diamond earrings, not available. He asked if he could help with anything else which I responded no, I stated I will just look around, so he went to next customer, as anyone would expect. While I was looking at handguns in showcase I seen one I was interested in and was patiently waiting for him to finish with his customer, another employee came out from a closed door and seen me standing there but he immediately went back behind closed door, so I continued to wait, in a few minutes this young girl walked into store, employee that had went behind door immediately came out to assist this young girl, I continued to wait, then the young girl left, instead of him asking if I needed help he went behind door again before I had the chance to say anything to him. The other very nice employee was still helping his other customer so I said to myself, just leave, which I did. Now I hope this update on my review is more satisfying to the owner, which (owner) took as a negative review when all I wrote was you had a very knowledgeable employee, not much jewelry but several guns. Sorry you took my 1st review negatively, hope this one is more to your liking. I only gave 3 stars because of the employee that was pickey about who he helped, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. I will say I have been to Wade's pawn shop many times, have purchased many item and this is my 1st aggravating experience. Although I was lied to by one of your employees in the past but let it go because I liked the diamond ring I purchased, the lie was I could take the ring to your recommended Jewelry store and have it sized for a certain price, it was over double the amount your employee told me it would be. I had it sized anyway. I will certainly visit this pawn shop again and encourage others to visit also. Normally there is several employees but this day I only seen 2 and only 1 was...

I was in need of lawn equipment. I rarely go to pawn shops. I visited Wade's Jewelry & Pawn for the first time. Never been there before and will never go back.

I found their lawn equipment was way overpriced among other items. Might as well purchase lawn equipment new for those prices. Most pawn shops you will find decent prices and deals. I didn't find that here. Not sure if it is due to inflation or their overhead. Most likely overhead from all the employees that are employed there.

You will remember me, I came in with a new unopened 40 pound box of Winchester 12 gauge ammo/shells. I spoke to the owner. The excuses to not purchase were too much liability, and that the insurance that insures the pawn shop wouldn't like it. What about the liability when someone brings in a new or used firearm to sell or pawn? I almost asked that question when I talked to you.

The whole point to coming to your pawn shop was to sell the case of ammo to put twords purchasing lawn equipment from you. There was a mower and weedeater you had that I wanted. I would pay the difference with whatever price we worked out on the case of ammo. Plus I had other items in my vehicle I was interested in selling as well.

I visited other pawn shops and they all were excited I brought in an unopened case of ammo among other items. They all offered me money and didn't have the same issues of liability and insurance concerns as you did. I did business with the pawn shop that gave me the best deal.

I'm happy I took my business elsewhere once I saw the differences in prices. I came out ahead and got the lawn equipment I needed. The best part is my business was wanted and no excuses were made not to do business. In the future I now know what pawn shops to do business with and which ones not to. Wade's Jewelry & Pawn is one my family and I will steer clear of, if ever we have a need to visit a pawn shop...

So I had been looking for a tablet for a short bit and I was wanting a Samsung tablet and I was wanting a S series with the S pen as well as wanting to have the ability to have internet through phone service so about 3 weeks ago I found this tablet at wage jewelry and pawn inquired then about it and they had it marked at $150 and I offered them 125 and they said no as it had just been put out here recently so I said you know I'll pass right now. Sup fast forward 3 weeks to today and I was out of town and had decided to purchase it but I was not going to make it back into town in time to get there so I called a friend that lives in the area and I asked her if she would to go pick it up for me so when she gets there she calls me and I asked that I just said hey I said will y'all take $125 for it she explains that no they could not do that right now because it was just put out yesterday when I had seen the exact same one 3 weeks ago and the exact same box missing the exact same S pen without the charger so these people lie to sell for as much as possible so when it comes down to it DO NOT TRUST THEM AS THEY WILL LIE TO MAKE A SALE HERE MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN PEOPLE OR ANYTHING ELSE AND MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER...
