Walmart Neighborhood Market — Local services in Tuscaloosa

The store is nice and clean but it has issues. Other Walmart stores like the neighborhood market on Hargrove have the primo water refill machine making shopping and refilling water convenient in one place however this Walmart does NOT have the water refill machine like the one on Hargrove. The gas station is nice and instead of waiting outside to pay they have a mini inside store as well! I thought this was a nice upgrade! The last thing that bothered me about this store was the price of French vanilla coffee mate creamer lol I selected the medium 32 oz bottle of coffee mate vanilla creamer the price was $7 and some change I asked the cashier if I could exchange it because I’m sure I saw the bigger size cheaper so I ran to the back and grabbed the 64 oz back at self check out I scanned the 64 oz which is DOUBLE the size of the previous one I had and it rang up at $6 and some change lol so for over $1 less I was able to get DOUBLE the creamer! Maybe it’s because coffee mate has a bigger discount for bigger sizes lol I’m not sure where the issue is or if it’s even an issue since I got more for less but the tags and where the bottles where located was also backwards so it looked like the smaller one should’ve been the $6 bottle. All together it’s convenient if you live in Moundville and it’s a nice new store with modern features. However, because of the primo water machine being a huge part of my Walmart shopping list , I will continue going to the neighborhood Walmart on...

I go in this Walmart almost every single day. It seems like they be waiting for someone to come in and do something wrong. Yesterday I went in to cash a check and it seems like soon as I said I was cashing a check all hell broke loose. A black man that seems like he was store manager called loss prevention to watch me the whole time and pointed right at me. They made me feel so uncomfortable which pissed me off so bad, everybody is not out here doing wrong so when they seen I had my money the loss prevention guy started being VERY RUDE like hurry up and get out the store.like it’s not my fault yall picked the wrong person to pick on ! WOW!! Bought a rotisserie chicken last night, 11/06/25, (for supper tonight) from the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Hwy 69 South (Tuscaloosa, Alabama). The lady was just putting the bags on the warmer stand and I got a fresh one. Got home and put it in the fridge. Just now got it out of the fridge to put in the oven. It is missing a drumstick AND a breast!!! Guess it got so done that they fell off before the bird got bagged (I am the only person at my house and I dang sure didn't eat it)!!
