I will rate with one star cause zero is not an option, today there were 4 registers open and backed up at Capital Market Publix. It was lunch time and I had Sushi and a drink. I went to Customer Service and had to say Mam loudly go get the Customer Service reps attention away from the sales paper. I dropped my drink in the process and when I picked it back up, she had not moved from her spot close to the Customer service entrance and proceeded to tell me she would not check me out cause she was allergic to seafood and that needed to go get in line; not even a here you hold it and I will scan it...just not going to move. Read moreMy husband & I loves to shop here. The fresh vegetables are really very good & they have products that you can't find at the other stores. The employees are VERY friendly & helpful. And one of the main things, we DO NOT have to stand in a long line to check out. And we hate the way the other stores, where you have to self check your groceries. I don't get paid to check my groceries. I already have to PAY for my groceries. However, living in rural AL a trip to Publix is now a luxury. Not impressed with CS at this(or any) Tuscaloosa Publix. Deli people not welled trained. Cashier's are very ho-hum and they have even installed self-checkouts. Note to Publix: If you want me to do your job, pay me or lower your prices. You should value your reputation more...
