Shoppes at Beachwalk — Local services in Twentymile

This review pertains to the Great Clips store at the Shoppes at Beach Walk, which I never plan to visit again.

On November 1st, 2025, between 5:30 and 6:00 PM, I witnessed deeply disappointing behavior from the two employees running the store at that time. An elderly woman, likely in her mid-70s, entered the store with her daughter around 5:40 PM — while the sign clearly indicated the store was open.

At that moment, I was inside, next in line, with only one other customer being serviced (besides my son). Despite this, the staff refused service to the elderly woman. Their dismissive attitude toward her was both unprofessional and disrespectful.

I immediately questioned the decision and asked the staff to take the “Open” sign down if they did not intend to serve walk-in customers. The situation was unacceptable, and I chose not to get my haircut. Instead, I contacted Great Clips customer service right away to file a formal complaint.

I remained in the store until closing at 6:00 PM while waiting for my son, and the incident left a lasting negative impression.

To the owner, whom I’ve met before — please be aware that this level of customer service is not acceptable and reflects poorly on your otherwise...

Always a pleasure shopping here! Everyone is very pleasant and caring. Everything is always well-stocked and very neat. The meat and produce sections are well-maintained. The seafood is always fresh, and the premade dishes offer a great variety of items to make your life easier. I would also like to say that the pharmacy staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. This store will always be my go-to for everyday...

Great place easy to get in and out of expect during rush hour this whole area gets jammed up. But the shoppe is nice and convenient with great employees...
