Ross Dress for Less — Local services in Ukiah

Went to the dressing room with my daughter to try on new pants for school. I asked how many in the limit and she said 8. I went in with my daughter and when we came out, she asked me to leave clothes on the hanger. I said ok, no problem. I’ll put the hangers back on after we try them. When I came out the second time with the next batch of clothes and my daughter was done, the security guard was there to check pockets of every pair of pants. It was really embarrassing. Then he said oh, wait a minute, on the last pair, as if acting like he was going to find something! It was so rude and obviously meant to embarrass me. I will never shop there again. And I’m not walking in there looking broke like I need to steal. I make $250k a year, drive a brand new Alfa Romeo Julia, had about 20k in diamond and gold 4k diamond tennis bracelet, necklace, earrings and rings, carrying a Gucci bag and gucci sunglasses. Why was I being harassed and targeted? My guess is those employees were jealous I was wearing clothes and jewelry that are worth more than they make in 10 years. Will not ever go back! Jealous...

I bought what I needed but the staff wasn't friendly. The greeting/loss prevention person was courteous enough but the other employees were not. I was ready in line to pay for my items but I was in the one where you return and although no one else was waiting behind me in either line, they made me go through the maze and into the other line which was only about 5steps to the left of me. Then the lady that was at the register stepped away to arrange some items on the side, made me wait more time and then went back to finally wait on me. No greeting or smile. Although not really offensive situation I wondered what ever happened to customers first, and just plain friendly service. Not an experience I'd like to repeat so I won't be going...

I think timing is key when you come...got there around 6:30pm and waited about 10-15 minutes to get inside.

The cashier line was insanely long but by the time I left got way shorter. It looked like a 30 minute wait to checkout, no joke. 4 stars because that’s kinda crazy...although they must have just gotten a shipment that day because there was SO MUCH STUFF it was like there weren’t enough shelves for all of it!!

Most things I thought were priced well but some of the decor stuff and furniture seemed way too expensive (though very pretty!). If I can’t find what I’m looking for thrifted or secondhand, I’ll come here to find it :) Bonus for the funny...
