Our family had Chef Salma and Ms Sierra create an amazing culinary experience our family in St John twice over the holidays this year.

Service and professionalism and planning ahead was stress free and super easy. They did local fish one evening then surf and turf with lobster and a whole tenderloin that was incredible. They even helped with specific dietary needs with our group and took care of the kids dinner as well.

There were 10 of us total. Each meal they showed up to St John from St Thomas at 5pm sharp. Prepped the kitchen and set the table in an amazing holiday setting. They served a 3 course Meal with pork sliders and a local green salad on night 1. Then family style with the lobster and filet night two with a wedge and more sliders (they were delicious. Both nights we had fried plantains cooked in two different manners.

Salma and Sierra were kind and courteous culinary pros and we felt like they were part of the family after two nights of cuisine. We were referred to them by friends and it made our holiday trip so much easier with a large group with small children vs going out in St John. Competitive pricing to chef in vs going out as well.

They left the kitchen spotless and really just made our trip stress free without having to worry about cooking for the family.

We had an incredible experience with Dive In Catering -- Chef Salma and Chef Sierra truly saved the day! After a grueling travel day filled with delays, gate sprints, and a missed connection, we were exhausted when we finally made it to St. Thomas. Thankfully, Salma and Sierra had a last-minute opening and stepped in to prepare dinner for our family -- and it was nothing short of amazing.

The grilled Mahi Mahi was perfectly seasoned, the coconut rice was out of this world (even my daughter, who’s picky about rice, gave it her seal of approval), and the jerk chicken was a hit with everyone. The vegetables were flavorful, the mango salad was refreshing, and the coconut shrimp appetizer was so good. The chocolate cake with ice cream was decadent. On top of all that, they even whipped up an island punch that I asked for!

Sierra was the consummate server -- gracious, attentive, and so warm. Together, she and Salma worked like a well-oiled machine. Their calm, cheerful presence and the care they put into every detail -- including the lovely printed menu cards made the experience extra special. We got up from the table full and content.

The process of working with Dive In Catering was seamless from start to finish. I truly cannot recommend them enough. I’m so grateful for how they turned our chaotic day around, and I really hope they have a breakfast slot open before we leave..lol..because we’d love to do it all over again!
