It breaks my heart to have to leave a less-than-positive review, and I just hope this feedback will help; I want to see all local businesses in my USVI home succeed! We ordered a takeout pizza — the Beach Bunny (mascarpone, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula) — but, when we got home and opened our dinner, we were unbelievably disappointed. The toppings were so shockingly skimpy that we can’t call this a “pizza” (see pics of the thinnest “pizza” I’ve ever seen; I turned a slice on its side to show it was only ~1mm thick!). Where was the cheese? At best, it’s an extremely thin bread with a tiny sprinkle of cheese. We didn’t mind that it’s a really small pizza; we didn’t mind that the crust was that thin and a little burned in places; we didn’t mind that you ran out of arugula. But to pay $28 ($21 pizza plus a generous tip) for virtually zero cheese & toppings was such a heart-sinking disappointment when we were so excited about enjoying a delicious pizza. We tried a piece, but it was like eating a cracker. Sadly, we were forced to come up with a Plan B for dinner. Until Paradise Pie improves, we’ll be ordering pizza from Island Time Pub, who delivers hearty, large, consistent, high-quality pizza for comparable prices. I wish Paradise Pie the best as you grow your business; I know you want to do your best for the VI!

I’m very picky about my pizza, and my hubby and I ate here back to back nights 😅 The first night had super loud music and a bit of a drunken bar crowd (which isn’t much my scene) and the service was not that great. When we got the pizza back to our condo, we were blown away! We came back the second night and the bartender was much better (wish I would’ve gotten his name) and also let us have our pizza and drinks in a cabana. The view was absolutely stunning, even with a cloudy sunset. The Pura Vida was top notch (ordered twice) and my husband also tried the Maui on our second visit. The pizza was so good we started chowing down before snapping a photo, but here’s some from the condo fridge.

Absolutely a must stop for pizza on St. Thomas. Toppings are all fresh and flavorful. All pizzas are made to order. Cocktails on the menu are all good options. Got to try many between a small group of friends. The gluten free option for crust is a great choice and as far as gluten free pizza goes, this one won’t disappoint. Going hand in hand, the regular crust was perfect. Had a good crunch to it without taking away from the pie as a whole. The view of Sapphire Beach and St. John off shore along with a little breeze make this location perfect either before going out or just coming back from a little adventure. Even as a designated stop otherwise you shouldn’t pass this place up!

I am leaving this review specifically for those of you who are Celiac, since they advertise gluten free pizzas. If you have Celiac or a gluten allergy, be very careful with this place. Even though they say there is a separate oven and separate pans, we watched the chef in an open kitchen take zero precautions to prevent cross-contamination between pizzas. He was not wearing gloves and did not wash his hands in between handling different kinds of dough. He put his bare hands in the cheese and used the same ladle to spread sauce on both regular pizzas and gluten-free pizzas. There is absolutely no way that you can guarantee no cross-contamination when there are no safety precautions and cleanliness standards. My girlfriend was super excited to finally find a pizza place on our vacation that was gluten-free, but we ended up canceling our order after watching this disaster in the kitchen. The chef saw me watching him and he actually aggressively started approaching me and yelling about why I was complaining. The bartender was also extremely rude to us when we canceled the order after this debacle and said that the price of the pizza was going to come out of his tips, which is ridiculous. Also, why do they have a single bartender taking pizza orders at a busy restaurant while also making drinks? This really should be much more streamlined. Again, if you have Celiac or a gluten allergy, I would avoid this place at all costs.

I can't speak to the non gluten-free pizzas although my brother and sister-in-law did order one and it looked good. However, the cross-contamination and rude service spoiled everything about this place.

The vibe is also extremely loud and like a college party atmosphere with deafening techno pop music. Definitely catering to the cruise ship clientele, so do not go here if you expect to have any sort of laid-back, relaxing...

I was at Paradise Pizza April 28, 2023 and try to order a salad. I notice the young lady that was preparing my salad was not wearing gloves or using utensil to pick up the lettuce .I ask the gentleman why wasn’t she wearing gloves? He replied “ We don’t use gloves because it’s contaminated and she always wash her hands “. So I said “But she didn’t wash her hands before starting making my salad.” He got so hostile, angry and give me a nasty look and said “ it’s always our kind of people that always causing a problem.” I don’t know where he was going with that comment. But I know it’s very unsanitary to prepare a meal without washing your hands. They need to follow the RESTAURANT HAND WASHING POLICY WHICH INDICATES THAT HAND WASHING IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF A RESTAURANT’S FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM . This restaurant was not following protocols . Unwashed hands provide a vehicle for germs to travel throughout the business . This is definitely a health...
