168 Nails Spa — Local services in Upper Arlington

Had a lovely experience at 168 Nails Spa today! I am in from out of town and booked a gel manicure and pedicure on short notice. Location is small but clean and had partitions up between each station (felt very safe in COVID times!). Pedicure was great and I added a 10 min extra massage which was lovely. I also opted to try out the chrome manicure which was new (I was the second person to get this type of mani!!). Needless to say I'm OBSESSED!!! My nail tech was lovely and did such a great job. The WORST experience I’ve ever had. Went in for a pedicure and the lady told me I had an ingrown toenail (which I didn’t). She proceeded to dig into my toe which resulted in an infection. I was put on antibiotics by my doctor and when i called to ask for a refund I was told I had to come back to let them look at it. When I came back they told me that it was “normal” and that the only thing they could offer me was another free pedicure. As if I would want to come back???? This was my first time at this spa. I had multiple fingers with my cuticles bleeding, the appt was rushed and I did not have a good customer service experience. I am worried about my fingers being infected, the finger that was actively bleeding was dipped in the dip powder, even though I recommended skipping that finger due to sanitary reasons for other customers.
