With a rating like this, there is only one direction to go from here, but I doubt it that the owners will let that happen. During a stay at a nearby hotel, I literally flipped a coin and chose this one over another Indian grocery store (as I do not know the area). I found that the building itself look refreshingly different from ones in which typical Indian stores are located, and the interior was organized, bright and inviting. The store seemed to be frequented by the scores of Indians that seemingly lived in large apartment communities quite literally next door. Their cooked food tasted pretty good for a setting of this type (I took out dinner every night), with quite some variety and the chaats, and their sweets were above grade as well. The general demeanor of the staff seemed rather commendable, rather warm and friendly. I have high hopes for when I settle in the area and make this 'my' Indian...
Read moreHad a bad experience at this store yesterday and I can't believe any store can go such extent during a turbulent time like this. Price stickers were missing on all essential items like rice, atta, Deep frozen paratha, paneer. They had a price list of all rice bags on the adjacent wall but it's all removed now.Only Kitchen king rozanna basmati rice had price sticker of 8.99 which the store girl billed me for 9.99 even after telling her the marked price, she did not agree and said she will check the price. But, as soon as she ring me out,she started ringing other customers. It might just look like $1 but imagine if the store is practising this on other items, we would never know. I do not understand why it is so difficult to put a price sticker of the products you are selling.Atleast they should be considerate of current situation rather than taking advantage of it. Hope to see a positive change in...
Read moreI have been visiting this place for years. The staff are friendly. If you dont find the things you are looking for you can talk to the owner or staff, they usually find it or get it in couple of weeks. Prices are decent and competitive. Did I mention they have a Rasoi (kitchen) too. They make vegetarian dishes only. They have daily specials in the display. They have a awesome chef, who understand when you say lite-medium and custom makes food from the menu. Also they tables inside and outside to enjoy the food hot. They have seasonal fresh sugarcane juice and paan. Now you know, why I visit this place. The last I checked the kitchen was temporarily close for renovation and expected to open again May 2024. Monday...
