I recently had the misfortune of having a deer run into my car that caused a fair amount of damage. Like most modern day citizens I took to Google, Reddit, etc to see how long I may be without a my vehicle. While I did see the high ratings here I also saw plenty of extended wait times that caused some significant anxiety it would take some time to repair. Thankfully that anxiety was relieved once I showed up for my appointment at Tesla Collision in KOP and met Nick.
Before I get to my introduction with Nick let me first mention Gavin who was at the front desk and checked me in. He was a complete gentleman and was as professional and personable as one can be. He offered me a seat and water and coffee that was provided, which I felt was a nice touch. Nick came soon after and was also both personable and professional. I let him know about the trepidation I had after seeing some online horror stories and Nick reassured me that he was in charge of ordering parts and he could essentially build the car from top to bottom and he should have the car back to me in two weeks at the most.
During my meeting with Nick he also told me that he sends updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays to let me know of the progress. This was late Wednesday afternoon so I asked if he would even bother with an update the following day and he said yes. Got that update saying the car was disassembled, then on Friday Nick send me an email the with pictures of the disassembled car and let me know that the parts were all in house. Monday he texted that the car would be in the painting department and reassembly would be started soon after. Tuesday's update was it's being reassembled, Thursday Nick let me know that my car was being detailed and that it was in the quality check phase. Got an early text Friday that it was read and to schedule a time to pick it up. Most importantly the work was beautifully done and the car looked brand new. I coudn't be more satisfied.

I am HAPPY to say this is a positive review. My 2021 Model 3 LR was hit 2 weeks after getting it. I was devastated after the incident and dreaded the thought of having to deal with Karosserie who worked on my 2019 last year, the worst body shop experience ever ! I was about to make an appointment 2.5 hours away just to get my car fixed by a Tesla company collision center. To my surprise the KOP location just opened the week prior and I rushed my car over for an estimate. From day one I had such an amazing experience. I felt immediately at ease and knew this was going to be a much better experience. Parts arrived much sooner than expected. Once the work began they kept me well informed. They worked directly with my insurance company and in 2.5 weeks my car was done and right. I arrived very nervous , as I was not sure what to expect. I am thrilled to say my car literally looks like it never happened. The paint is flawless, factory quality, everything was fit back in place perfectly and with total care. The quality of work is just amazing. I hope to never need to see these amazing folks again, but if I do I know they are fully capable of making it like nothing happened. From the office manager (Briana), to my agent (Nate), to the shop manager (Danielle), they together really offered a master class in customer service and high quality workmanship. My agent was communicative, honest/transparent, and truly supported me as a customer through the entire duration of service. I could also easily get a live person to talk to on the phone!
Upon initial return of my vehicle, there were components of the paint job that were less than satisfactory. The very next business day upon my return both my agent and the shop manager met me, inspected the vehicle, agreed that there was room for improvement, and took care of me and the issue with the utmost care and apology. Even offered Uber credits for the inconvenience. The work was corrected quickly and it is literally impossible to tell that any work had ever been done on my vehicle. While no one ever wants to have to navigate the headache of repairing accident damage to their car, this service center made it an absolute breeze and really modeled what it can actually be like to deal with automotive service that doesn't make you want to pull your hair out!
