Fusion Auto Sound — Local services in Urbandale

I decide to go with Fusion for a full install on my Grand Cherokee of door speakers, two amps and a two 15 in subwoofers. They put in a system that literally shakes my car. I wanted bass and I got massive bass!! During and after the install I had a ton of questions for Cameron and he was patient with me and did an excellent job of explaining things. Here is a one month update. The sound coming from my door speakers was unimpressive so I went back to Cameron with my concerns. He told me that he turned them down to protect them from being blown out. Eventually I had another shop tuned my amp and take out the bass in my door speakers. Wow! It definitely made a difference. Cameron did a great job of recommending and installing my system. Even the guy who tuned my amp admitted to that. I'm giving him three stars because of the following:1)$) I wanted a loud system. Why would he turn down my speakers without consulting me? 2) The speakers were covered in dust because he didn't clean them off during installation.3) the box he put the speakers in was old and not the correct fitting box.4) I wasn't given an itemized list of the cost to put in the system. He literally did the number in his head. Make sure he gives you an itemized list of the cost to put in your system or walk away. The guy who tuned my amp gave me an itemized cost based off what I had put in my car and it came out to be around 350 dollars cheaper. Again ask for a cost break down or go to a shop that will provide...

110% satisfaction. When I went into Fusion I had made up my mind for what I was looking for. I had been to two other places "down the street" and "downtown" only to be quoted prices for the type of product I was looking for. Cameron at Fusion went out to the vehicle to see trunk size etc. then asked me "What kind of power are you looking for?" and asked questions on what I wanted to hear and not so much about a particular product. He educated me more on the sound output and what is needed for maximum sound. He put one 10" P/3 (1/3 of RMS watt of my old Fosgate T2) in a custom built box for the trunk and this sub sounds better and louder my old Fosgate T2 1500rms 12". I showed Cameron the T2 and right away he noticed the box I had it in was just a $40 prefabricated box cut to hold a 12" sub but not built for max performance. The T2 was a 600.00 sub and the guys "downtown" just put it in a cheap box. I only wish I had known about Fusion 6 years ago. Everybody that has listened to my system now is impressed when I pop the trunk only to find one 10" sub. Most think there are 2 back there. I only had 2 must haves and Cameron delivered. 1) thin box not taking much room and easy to take out if needed; 2) clear clean bass with enough power to sound like there is a system in the car. After having to have a Intoxalock put in my daughters car from a DUI. The unit began having trouble. Her and my husband showed up at 4:30 pm they close at 5 and they were told they did not have time to take care of her. Then my husband said this place is a disaster, and the man said you (to my daughter) are the disaster for the OWI. Very rude individuals at all. she called Intoxalock to complain and they said a lot of people have complained on them, and they are changing her service location. Would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM AND THEY NEED TO LOOK UP WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS.

Funny part is took it to place in Grimes and 15 minutes in and out. No dash pull out.

Your response is bull and you are a horrible business man. obviously you have to monitor google post. I came in to pick something up once for my daughter and your business presence was horrible. You will never see us again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THEN TO TOP IT SHE WENT TO GRIMES AUTO REPAIR 1-29-2018 AND THEY SAID THE UNIT WAS INSTALLED ALL WRONG AND THEY ARE HAVING TO REINSTALL. ALSO FUSION SOUND REMOVED MY COMMENT...
