Found out about this store a few months ago, thought I was going to love it as itâs âdiscountedâ items, but my last visit showed me the lack of good customer service combined with most the products being broken, cheap quality, or stupidly priced and no doubt this store wonât last long. They remind me of the greed of a thrift store - youâre supposed to be cheap because youâre selling items with problems or that didnât sell for the original retailer!
The items magically raise in price as time goes on. Saw a $99 cat tree when the store opened months ago, went back to buy it but the price was missing. Asked an employee to reprice and they said it was $129.99. I told them the item was only $99 months ago and itâs half broken and would need repair (something I was going to do at the $99 as that was on the line of overpriced)
Employee didnât care and was so sure it was the price they guessed. I emailed customer service after to see about having someone who would look at that situation and realize the employee didnât know the price but no help there, they responded in minutes meaning it was replied by someone who doesnât get paid enough to care.
Wonât be back again. Stick to the other discount stores like Burlington (wayyyy better) or TJ Max, at Burlington theyâll actually reduce pricing on broken items and donât magically raise the already...
Read moreI went shopping at this location and one of the items I purchased was a belt. When I got home I realized the size was mismarked. A couple of weeks later when I was in the area I stopped to exchange it. I waited in line for 30 minutes while my wife and kids went to the back of the store to grab a bigger size. When I finally made it to the cashier she refused to exchange it because I had lost the receipt. The manager came over and was rude and refused to help at all. At this point, my toddler was acting up and my wife wanted to leave. It was very simple and even exchange but they wanted to be difficult over a $9 belt. I will never shop this store again. Their customer...
Read moreWill never be back. Shopped there two weeks ago and spent like 300 on back to school clothes. I was awarded 5 coupons for 5.00 off. I asked the clerk how it worked. He said I could come back buy 25.00 worth of shoes (example) and use all 5 coupons at one time. So I drive an hour one way just to go back to use my coupons. Picked out shoes for my grandkids, gave the coupons to the clerk and she said I could only use one coupon. She said one coupon per 25.00 purchase. I was so ticked off. It cost me more money in gas to get there and get home than I saved from that coupon. Needless to say I will...
