Learning Express Toys of Exton — Local services in Uwchlan Township

For the past few weeks I have eagerly been awaiting the release of a particular squishmallow and have had a call set in to a store close to my boyfriend in Florida since I don’t live close to a Learning Express. Thursday he called me to tell me they didn’t receive the squish in their shipment and so my hunt began. I called every single store in NY, CT, NJ, and Florida (17 in total) to learn that no one had even received the squishmallow in their shipment due to a mistake at the distribution facility. By call number 18 I had low hopes but was willing to do anything at this point. It may sound silly, but I really had been looking forward to this release for weeks and was a bit sad. When Sara(h) answered the phone Thursday afternoon, she was kind, cordial, and professional. When Sara(h) confirmed that the store had received the squish I was beyond excited! Better yet, Sara(h) shared along in my excitement and eagerly and patiently helped me fill out my order and even offered to ship any of the other squishes she had in stock. Today when I called to confirm that everything had gone through properly, I was greeted by Tim who helped me and laughed alongside me about my quest to find my squishmallow. I have been to this store quite often over the years, and the prices continue to be inflated, sometimes as much as 25% higher than online prices. It's a shame, there's a lack of availability of toys stores now that Toys R Us has closed, making this one of the few places in Chester County to check out toys in person. Not only are the prices inflated, but management does not offer price matching or a military discount, and their customer loyalty incentive is a joke- only $10 back after you've shopped there over 10 times and spent hundreds. The coupons they occasionally send in the mail cannot be used on sale items, and they refuse to budge on this. Monkey Fish Toys at least price matches and offers military members a small discount. Do a comparison search of almost any item in this store while you're shopping there and you will be shocked at what they are charging. It's clear they are ripping people off. I absolutely love the new location of Eagleview Blvd. cause it is so much easier to get in and out of the store. The new store is laid out so well and it seems so much more spacious and easy to find exactly what I'm looking for. The quality of every toy that they sell is the best. We have been shopping here for years and what I love is that every time you go in there is something new. They sell a lot of the most trendy and newest toys on the market so you can always be sure to find something that most kids won't already have and all of the staff are more than happy to help with ideas too.
