Travelers beware. The elevator does is not in operation here at this hotel. It works, but they are not allowed to let guests use it because of a permit issue. I wish I would have known about thos before booking this hotel and choosing the top floor. I had lots of camera equipment to carry up and down during my three day stay. The night that I arrived to check in, there was no one at the front desk, for awhile.......I was even yelling "hello????". Eventually someone came. Also their "free breakfast" is just bagels and juice, and yogurt. The price is very low, and the rooms were quiet and clean, but I won't stay here again because of the elevator issue. The one staff member said it hasn't been operational since February, and at the time of this review (end of August), that seems like ample time to rectify a permit issue. This was my first ever Spark stay, might be my last anywhere as I travel weekly for my job. I will stick to the Hampton Inn's and Hilton Garden Inn's.

Stayed during their grand opening week in April 2024. This is Hilton's other budget-minded brand - a Tru without the design touches or the social hooks. It was clean and comfortable but not quite ready for prime time, unfortunately. The TV, air conditioner, and phone in my room were all non-functioning when I checked in - an engineer had to be sent up to get the TV and AC up and running. (I didn't bother with the phone.) Overall, the room was comfortable but I was irked by the lack of a proper desk chair (a backless cube/stool was provided) and the lack of outlets or USB ports next to the bed. Shower pressure was fine - I'd say a 7 out 10. Lots of suburban chain restaurants in the area for dinner and a very basic continental breakfast in the morning (coffee, juice, bagels). It was a positive experience for $85/night but the hotel was nearly empty - it might be a different experience when at capacity with families and cheap Philly tourists.

I only booked one night and that was one night too many. Upon arrival everything looked clean and modern. The front desk agent was efficient and nice. The elevator was out of service but I could forgive that because it was a weekend and I imagine it wouldn't be fixed until the next Monday. When I entered my room I found a rogue piece of dog food. Strange, but I wasn't ready to call the room dirty. Later I tried to turn on the TV, the remote appeared to have a white powder substance on it so I cleaned it and pressed the on button. The TV just blinked off and on so I tried to call the front desk. The phone didn't work. So I decided to go to bed. The sheets seem to have not been changed after the last guest.

I had a great experience at the Spark by Hilton, Exton, PA and cannot thank the staff enough! Trust me, I’ve had to stay at another Spark by Hilton location and they are not at all the same. During this stay, my sister and I arrived late but before we came, we called to make sure we would still be able to check in and were told by Zack that we could so we decided to go ahead and drive to the hotel. When we arrived, we were told that there were no more rooms available even though we had already paid and called prior to coming to the property. Zack did his absolute best to check the system to really make sure no rooms were available, he even called multiple times for assistance, being that he is newer in the front desk role. After double and triple checking, unfortunately we were not able to check in due to the hotel being booked. Zack however, offered us the complimentary tea they had in the lobby which helped us so much being that we’d had a very long day, explained the situation in great detail, and was just a very friendly and genuine guy. Being that we would have to come back the next day to check in, which was just about 10 hours since it was around midnight, Zack made sure to make sure we had a free night, upgraded room, additional Hilton Honors points, and he even came outside to give us some coupons for some local eateries. He also ensured us that he would speak to his manager about the situation and we could clearly tell that he did since my additional points and free night were added on quickly. Even though the initial night that we wanted to check in didn’t go as planned, Zack really took care of us and did everything within his power to help. He made sure to tell us that when we would be able to check back in that he explained everything to Tyrone and he would take care of us and when we came back he definitely did. I did call ahead to make sure if our room was ready and he told me the time to call back and when I did it was ready. Everything was a smooth process and during the stay we had absolutely no issues. Tyrone was very helpful as well, periodically checking in to make sure that we were enjoying our stay. There was a day that I had to chat with the front desk and ask for additional toilet paper and it was brought up so fast that I was so shocked when I heard the knock at the door. Anyway, I can honestly continue to go on and on but I did not only want to acknowledge the staff but thank them as well. My sister and I had just relocated and needed to temporarily stay in a hotel prior to moving into our apartment and we had a lot of stressful moments but staying here helped us to be in peace while in transition. Zack was so amazing and we hope that he gets the credit that he deserves for how much he went above and beyond for us. Tyrone was great as well with being accommodating and friendly. The housekeeping staff and also engineering which I almost forgot that one of our tv’s wouldn’t turn on and the lead engineer which I’m so sorry I don’t remember his name but I know he was Hispanic and from New York, he was great and we had fun speaking with him as well. There was a guest above us working out in his room which was very loud and he actually went upstairs to speak to him without us even asking and we greatly appreciated it. Overall this was a great stay and I would highly recommend this property; very clean, great staff, great size rooms,...

I ended up at Spark by Hilton bc I had a reservation at the extended stay across the street for over 3 weeks but the guy at the front desk was asleep when I got there at 3 am (I drove across the country for work) long story short when I got there I was greeted by Zach (hope I spelled that right) who was LITERALLY an Angel. He knew I had just driven from my last hotel for about 14 hours and took care of me. I honestly sat in the car at 3 am with my dog when Extended stay treated me so badly having no idea what I was going to do because I was so exhausted(customer service kept trying to call the front desk as well but he didn't answer... that's a whole other story) |Soo.. about the hotel. |AMAZING!!! The beds are literally so comfortable.. the pillows, sheets and everything. It's SUOER clean. Everyone is soooo helpful. There is tea and coffee 24/hrs a day.. they have dog treats and make them feel super welcome. |About the staff.. since I stayed a week I got to know some of them (I already told you how amazing Zach was)|The front desk staff that I got to know was:|Flesha, Nikki and Jim..|Flesha is SUPER helpful, super nice and literally can answer any questions that you may have.. shes so nice and easy to talk to.. she's AMAZING! I would always look forward to seeing her when I got back to the lobby since I'm new to the area and she was always so helpful! |Nikki is the sweetest! I could literally talk to her all day long and she really made me feel like home.. last and DEF NOT LEAST.. Jim!!! He is the MOST AMAZING PERSON IN THE WORLD. You could be having the worst day and he would make you Happy. Always has a smile on his face, he's super helpful... when I was getting tea one day and he was asking how my day was i accidentally missed the trash can when I was throwing away the wrapper and he picked without me even noticing.. |Arturo is the head of Maintenece is is sooo AMAZING! Anything you need he is there with a smile on his face and fixes anything you need. I 100% recommend this hotel.. which I could live...
