7.6.23 editing to add now they claim they will not talk to us because we filed negative reviews and claim to have refunded our money which is the biggest LIE ever. They refuse to call us back and we have asked them for proof showing they refunded us, but we get blocked from their facebook page and our comments are deleted. No answers from them which is a copout. This isn't the first review we have read with this same scenario. BUYERS BEWARE!!
As some others have stated we would leave zero stars on this purchase if it was an option. We put an order in for a sectional on October 29th 2022. They told us 2-12 weeks for delivery. Ok, fine we were hoping for a better turn around time than the last purchase with Luxury, which was still 17 weeks, but we had way better luck during covid. 12 weeks comes and goes another several weeks after the 12 week time frame goes by, we start calling leaving messages, no return calls. We send an email, no return email. We post something on Facebook and get an instant call back claiming no messages were ever received. We were told they were looking into the delivery to them. Long story short in February they get the sectional in, the manufacturer we are told dyed the sectional the wrong color they had to send it back, and the next shipment wouldn't be to them until April 11th.
Again April comes we call and leave messages no return call on our order. Finally again we go to Facebook only to get an instant call back. They told us they need another 3 weeks and that would be May 13th as the deadline. That deadline comes and goes we call again no call back. A few days later we get a call back that the manufacturer dyed the sectional the wrong color once again. At this point we've had enough. Now I'll back up and say before the May 13th deadline we were told we could 100% cancel our order and be refunded in full, because this has been ongoing since October 29th. Now we wait for our refund, unfortunately! This was something not in our control and we were very kind and patient with this company, but never again will we go there for anything. All you get are run around excuses and poor customer service. Unfortunately, we didn't think this could be our situation, but it is. We had been putting it off for a while, but after one too many terrible nights and a sagging couch that felt like quicksand, we knew it was time. A friend at work recommended Luxury, so we decided to check it out. You just do not find service like this anymore in 2025!
Not gonna lie, from the moment we walked in we could feel the difference compared to the big box furniture stores we visited earlier in the week. It wasn’t pushy salespeople swarming us, it felt more like being welcomed into a friends business that actually cared about us finding the right pieces. The showroom was set up beautifully, and the selection was impressive without being overwhelming.
Nicole and her team really went above and beyond. They asked questions about how we use our space, how we sleep, what we liked and didn’t like about our old furniture, and even how firm or soft we preferred our mattress. Instead of just pointing us to the most expensive set, they guided us toward what actually fit our lifestyle and budget. My wife is more focused on design and style, while I’m all about comfort and durability, and somehow they managed to make us both happy!? Even my wife???
We ended up choosing a gorgeous living room set that looks high-end but came at a price that honestly shocked us in a good way. And for the mattress, wow. I didn’t realize how bad our old one was until we laid on the one we purchased. The first night’s sleep felt like we were at a luxury hotel, and it’s been that way every night since. No more backaches, no more tossing and turning.
Delivery was fast and seamless too. The team set everything up carefully, double-checked that we were happy with the placement, and made sure nothing was left behind. You could tell they take pride in their work tooo!
All in all, I can honestly say this was the best furniture and mattress buying experience we’ve ever had. It didn’t feel like just a transaction, it felt like we were treated with genuine care. If you’re in the market for furniture or a new mattress, don’t waste your time at the big chains. Go see Luxury in Valpo.

Read moreEDITING MY ORIGINAL REVIEW! Do not buy from here! Honestly save yourself the hassle and take your money elsewhere!! I have had nothing but problems. Prior to buying my couch, I did not like the ottoman color and pattern that it came in. I asked if the manufacturer Jackson could get me fabric so that I could have it re done to match. Nichole called and yes they would, perfect. I placed more order for the couch. Took 5 months for my couch to come in, when it did, it was damaged and no fabric was sent. Nichole did get them to replace it the couch but again waiting, waiting, and more waiting. Couch came in and again no fabric! I was being told “oh they are sending it”. Stopped by in late May was told “oh it will come in sometime in August”. Fast forward to 6 months later, I had to stop in the store because THEY ARE TERRIBLE AT ANSWERING THE PHONE EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU WILL GET VOICEMAIL! You have to text and maybe by the end of the week you will get a call. Nichole said “No one called you I’m so sorry they can’t get the fabric, they don’t have it”. SERIOUSLY I WOULD HAVE NEVER GOT THIS COUCH! Another reason I went there was because the couch arm collapsed literally, use an arm rest as an arm rest it collapsed! Wood is sticking out of the side. I haven’t even had this couch a year!! Overall it has been a terrible experience. Now stuck with something I don’t like and poorly made after paying $4,000!!! They will tell you anything to get your money but the communication after you leave the store is terrible. They will always tell you “this has never happened”, “this is the first time this happened”, “I have never seen that happen before”. WORST MISTAKE EVER GIVING THEM $4,000 for trash!! Pictures below!
