Miller’s Toy Box — Local services in Valparaiso

My youngest was big into Lego’s years ago. Recently he got back into it. I told him about Millers. He looked over the FB site and asked could we just stop in. Got there early on a Saturday morning. He walked in and immediately found a Star Wars Lego he’d always wanted. The 2 gentleman behind the counter were great. They brought it down for him. He was gushing lol. He has worked for 8 months saving his money and doesn’t buy anything for himself. He said I want to buy it. And he did. Again the gentleman were absolutely great. And now he FB stalks the page looking for more things. After we left he said it was a few bucks more than he’d seen on eBay. But as we’ve always preached support small businesses when you can (not that eBay sellers aren’t). He said he could see it touch it feel it and knew there were no issues. And could get it today! We will be stopping in when the itch strikes...

As a lifelong Lego fan, I drove here from Chicago and let me just say, “Wow.” I saw them in the NW Times and knew I had to visit. It has so many kits in boxes including some employee exclusives and so many sets I remember from my childhood. I took my brother and family who also enjoyed it and bought put together some mini figures from their section. It was reasonably priced and the whole family got together to pick out some figures.

I bought some figures myself including some Ferrari exclusives, a paramedic, and from the case an Ursula minifig which were all reasonably priced.

The staff was very kind. There were children and adults that came in so it really is just a great place for people...

My husband and I were looking to explore some Lego and this place was perfect. The older gentleman who was working the counter was very friendly and talkative and extremely helpful when we were looking for certain items. They had a couple bins and tables where you can sort through loose Lego and choose the pieces you want it and they charged you by the pound but you didn't have to buy a certain amount you can buy three pieces give him 30 cents and that would be okay!
