ALDI — Local services in Van Buren

I've got to tell ya, Aldi's is really a pretty amazing little store for a mostly generic, discount grocery store. I shop there this evening and found something I had never seen before, Sweet Sapphire black, seedless grapes, a bunch for only $2.49 and they are delicious. All of their produce is very reasonable and although I haven't tried all of it, they don't disappoint.they also have a frozen seafood section that's very reasonable. I've used their seafood for everything from shrimp scampi to cream-Munster scallops and beer batter fried Atlantic cod fillets and I'm very satisfied with the quality. To get a shopping cart you put a quarter in and it unlocks yourand after you check out and returned your card and lock it back you get your quarterback or you can leave it and pay it forward. you also need to bring your own shopping bags or you can buy large, heavy-duty, plastic, Aldi's shopping bags for 7¢ each or paper bags for 5¢. What a great store! Forgot to snap a photo; dang it! It's newly built so is nice and clean, isles are nice and wide, and prices are fantastic! Cheaper than Walmart or anywhere else! They may not carry everything you are shopping for but it's worth your time to begin there. If you've never been, be prepared to bag your own groceries, and either bring your own bags or purchase some from Aldi. It's a 40 minute drive to my nearest one in Van Buren but this is my go-to store when I'm ready to shop. Since my last monthly visit prices have gone up here, but still less expensive than everywhere else. Today I only stopped for milk because a gallon there is less expensive than anywhere else, including Walmart. And I was right across the street after a long day at a quilt show. Aldi's prices are still going up, but still cheaper than any other store. Today I stopped for milk, potatoes, and they had watermelon for under $4.00. ...

We love Aldi's! The one closest to me is brand new. It has a great layout. Nice wide aisles and always well stocked. A clean store! The employees are all very helpful, kind, and professional. They always greet you with a smile unlike Wal Mart and other big chain stores. The produce and meat section is great, always fresh and priced right! Keep up the good work Aldi's!
