The Arc Makes Cents — Local services in Ventnor City

Time The Arc thrift shop is located right on ventnor avenue in the center of town. Don't blink or you'll pass it! The first thing that will hit you about this thrift shop is that it is tiny tiny tiny. The second thing that will hit you is that there are many treasures to be found. I found a Neiman-Marcus cashmere sweater perfect condition for $8.95. I also found a beautiful lamp for my living room for $9. The merchandise in this store is a very good quality. The problem is there's not much of it. There is no furniture and very little in the way of household items. It's just too small 2 house a large quantity of merchandise. The racks are arranged by size and the condition of the clothing hung is excellent. The staff is very friendly and always willing to chat. This has become one of my favorite stops while in ventnor....

Cozy... Great little second hand store if you're looking for anything of better quality in a very clean friendly environment small place but so far I have found 8 out of 10 things that I've looked for when I've gone there so.... I have no complaints but parking is definitely in the business district and busy but if you just go down one of the side streets you can pretty much find a spot without having to pay a meter... Great for decorations and houseware.... More importantly it's a charity store.... So the items are donated and the proceeds are also donated......it definitely...

This wonderful place is full of eclectic things, books, jewelry and plenty of affordable clothing. Proceeds benefit The Arc of Atlantic County and their mission to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live the lives the choose. You can really believe their slogan Dream. Achieve. Believe. because you can see it on the faces of the people that The Arc serves and the people who work at the thrift shop. So you can support people with I/DD when you purchase items and you can help when you drop off donations of clothing, household goods,...
