Rainbow — Restaurant in Ventnor City

I came in for the first time because I was in the mood for some vegetarian sushi but found so many things I wanted to try. What really caught my eye from reading the Google reviews was the Oreo Mille Crepe Cake that I was fo sho getting 😋 Anyway I came in and it wasn't busy so that was nice because I was starving. I ordered the vegetable spring rolls which I loved. You can't really mess those up. That was my choice for an appetizer, for dinner I ordered the Hibachi Vegetable Fried Rice. It was very good 👍 the yum yum sauce gave it an extra boost of flavor along with a little drizzle of soy sauce 😊 I wish I would've seen the menu prior to ordering my ginger ale because they have a nice selection of slushies and teas which I will definitely try when I return to try some of the other options. I actually made a list 😁 For dessert you already know, it was amazing, I really forced myself to finish the whole thing even though I was full. We made a reservation for a group of 8 people for 7:30, walk into a relatively small area with all the tables full wondering where we were going to fit just to find that they had overbooked and given our table away. The hostess had to argue with us to get our table back and kick out the group of people that were at our table which took twenty minutes. We sat down at our table at 8pm and ordered our food and they brought out the soup that came out about thirty minutes later then the salad thirty minutes later, it is about 9:45 when I had asked the waitress how long it was going to take for our food and she said that they had just started making it and our food was hard to make. Sorry, if something is hard to make then don’t open a restaurant this is your job. The food came out at 10:15 and was delicious. Owners daughter was very rude and unaccommodating. I placed an online order for pickup time (40 mins), waited additional 20 minutes in line after my pickup time only to find out they did not process my order. I showed my order confirmation for the daughter to say that website thing doesn't mean anything. Mother came over and found my order and said they missed it. I asked if it could be expedited because I had kids in the car. Daughter cut me off to say they are busy with tables, it's not their fault their printer didn't print my order. I stated that it's not my fault I am only following instructions and Im just here for food. She said I was rude and need to reorder $160 order item by item and get in line because they are busy.

Do not order from here, people did not look pleased with the attitude they were receiving from staff. I personally feel they could have done anything but chose to push me away hungry...
