The 1 star is for the service not the store products. This is probably the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had, this has happened few times at this particular location, that’s why I feel the need to inform other customers. The first time we went to this Location We spent $2500 in outdoor furniture, I also purchased two picture frames, when I got home one was too small so I returned it the next day, the girl at the register grabbed the frame and kept trying to peel off The sticker with her nails, when she realized that it wouldn’t come off she asked me why I was returning it. I realize she was trying to do told her that it was too small for what I needed for and that I purchased it just the night before and I had a receipt with me. This girl had the audacity to ask the other associate if they had any other frames that look like the one I was returning in stock! the other girl went and checked when she came back she told her colleague they did in fact have them on the shelf. I couldn’t believe I was treated the way I was treated. She didn’t even say hi or bye. As if that wasn’t bad enough I figure I would give them another chance so I went back with my wife and kids few weeks later. We found a pice we wanted to purchase but it was chipped, we asked the same girl at the register “didn’t even said hi” if they had another piece in the back, without saying anything to us she called the manager. After a few minutes, she informed us That the manager was busy with another clients and he would come over in a few minutes. We waited at the register for 20 minutes. The girl didn’t care at all that we were waiting for so long she was actually sitting down in between customers, didn’t engage in any conversations with us at all. After 20 minutes, I went and looked for the manager who seemed to be talking to a friend. We obviously left without buying anything. I managed Restoration Hardware for many years and I can’t believe this store has such poor quality...
Read moreCould've made a scene but a review will have a longer lasting effect. Brought a wok and a mug 2 weeks ago. Used the wok once and it rusted. I'm not kidding - rusted. I get to the store and the lady at the register said "we can't take it back it looks awful" to which I replied "That's why I'm here." Turns out I forgot the receipt so I had to go back. Found the receipt, went back, only this time the items on the receipt didn't match what I had purchased. It's the only time I ever bought anything there. I bought a wok and "light fixture" shows up on the receipt. Who thinks to check for that? Didn't exchange the item even though they mislabeled it. Will not be going...
Read moreWas in today, 7/21 both store managers Kelvin and Antonio followed me around the store for no reason and had other employees join in. One of them even came in the bathroom after I did as if I was stealing? I come to this store and Homegoods all the time. The employees at Homegoods love me and recognize me whenever I’m up there. The only friendly worker at this Home Sense location is Shannon. When calling corporate shortly afterwards of the incident, store manager Antonio called me denying the whole situation. This is exactly why women are better off retail store managers than men. If you are a person of color, I would also suggest avoiding this store knowing...
