I was more than happy when I was asked to throw a baby shower for my niece. Obsessed with owls, I was looking at all the baker's near me and I just could not get them to see my vision for the cake I wanted. Disappointed, and scared it was going to be an epic fail. Grocery shopping like normal, the my daughter picked up an individual slice of cake, was eating it, and told I had to take a bite. Mind you we've been taking cakes all over for a couple of weeks now. The cake was so super moist and the amount of sweetness was perfect, the icing was whipped cream not regular frosting but light and full of flavor. I went to the bakery and asked who baked the cake I bought earlier. I was told it was a man who was off that day but will be back tomorrow. So tomorrow here I come. I explained what I wanted, although I didn't get the 3D cake, I wanted, they did not have the pans to bake a 3D cake, he drew me a pic and added color and said he could create come thing like this. And was an amazing job and the results were loved by all. Including me as picky as I am. He made cake pops with the extra cake and charged me as if they were a part of the cake. Lovely. Read moreI was told by the seafood department over the phone at 10AM that they were expecting a crawfish delivery at 130PM today & I that I didn't need to reserve any because there should be plenty. Went in person and then was told that the delivery was going to be at 330PM. The employee took my name and number to update me regarding the delivery. I returned at 330pm and then was told that the delivery may not contain crawfish and was given a contradictory story from another employee because the person I spoke to had left for the day. Needless to say, my boil was a bust due to non-delivery. Always reserve your crawfish in person at this HEB and keep track of who you spoke to.
Edit:i received an automated reply from the Store via this site. I did speak to David a manager at this store and he reiterated that there was nothing he could do.
