We are new to the area and wanted to find a decent nail salon to have a girls day with my 7yr daughter. We went 12/23/21 for mani and pedis and when they sat us they only me in a pedicure chair and had my daughter on the side. I said that I was willing to wait so we could sit together but the gentleman insisted. I soaked for about 30min and could see my daughter feeling left out and getting sad. I offered her to leave and find another place but she insisted we just stay. Once 2 chairs were available I asked them to move us together and they did. I wanted to get her shellac polish because it's supposed to last at least 2weeks and because in the past regular polish would just peel off in her bath later. What she picked out involved several steps with a white base coat then a chrome powder (which we didnt know from the begging) they proceeded to tell me would cost full price of $45! Seriously to just paint some kids toes? I didn't make a big fuss about it because I don't want my kid feeling guilty but coming from the Austin area and only being charged half price for kids and I could understand if she needed the full foot service of cleaning up the nail bed, calluses removal, ect... but she's 7. I appreciate that they did let her soak her feet a few minutes and did the leg massage part but that's the extent. I can't even recall if they gave her toe nail proper preparation for her shellac polish. They quickly finished her up and moved on to me. The service was fine although I would have appreciated actual pressure during the massage, which I asked for but it didn't make a difference. We got matching toes only $55 for me and then they started on her nail. Again I believe we were charge full price for her "manicure" which was only polish. Absolutely no preparation was done. I shouldn't have to tell professional how to do their jobs. I was really disappointed because her nails started to peel off by the end of the day. We were still out and about so we went back to show the evidence. They offered to fix her one nail but I told them they would have to fix them all because sure enough they all came off during her bath that night! And I didn't want to take them away from their other clients and we had already spent over 3.5hrs there and had other priorities to tend to that evening. They gave me a gift certificate and a younger tech sincerely apologized to my daughter. I was hoping her toe nails would last the weekend but sure enough those also came off by Sunday too. As for me I skipped the manicure because I was tired of being there and had other holiday errands to run. Over all spent $140 on 1 success pedicure. Pretty disappointing. I highly recommend reconsider the quality and prices for your young clients. They are your future...
Read moreI hesitated making this review for awhile because I can tell that they are capable of doing detailed, patient, and efficient work and with this only my second visit here. However, my experience was a little different. The hispanic lady that did my toes was great, no complaints, and very patient with me as I was indecisive on what color to choose, but when it came to my hands, I was told to sit at the first ladies table, I asked for a full set, and my cuticles be trimmed, the lady answered that she'd do it. She didnt ask if i wanted my finger nails cut, she starts clipping my nails so crooked and carelessly i legit felt like a horse. She begins applying my nails and I notice she puts the fake nails on still without trimming my cuticles, and I ask her again, she got frustrated with me and said it was 10 dollars extra, and since I was already paying $95 total, I said no. She continues then switched me to another lady who begins to paint my nails, makes a mistake, whipes the color off to where my color was now transparent and starts putting a top coat as if she can't see it. Then when I ask her to reapply my polish she sighed out loud and rushed through to finish my nails. People go to a nail spa to relax, and I felt like I was on an assembly line with people that just wanted to get through the day. Not cool. It's a decent place, but not everybody that comes in, you can just treat however you want. Especially since IM paying YOU...
Read moreThe Lady that greeted me was rude first off! Then when I showed her what I wanted she acted as if she could not do it so I changed what I was originally gonna do bc I was trying to compromise with her. She began to get impatient so she just walked off and started a pedicure and I’m guessing told her coworker to finish with me… Then they asked for pmt and I still had polish on my cuticles I had to ask her to clean it! I’ve been here before many times and have never been treated that way. Their were other women getting their nails done as well and a young lady there with her son and they just kept walking off from her. Mind you she’s been there since before I got there. Just really annoyed I work with the public as well and I don’t treat my customers like this!!! They are why I...
