The owners are very unprofessional and uncooperative. Vendors beware! Per their consignment contract, rental fees are $5 a square foot, $200 minimum which should equal 40 sq. feet. However, in order to squeeze in as many vendors as they possibly can, they decide to reduce the square footage based on their needs despite the agreement. They reduced my minimum 40 sq. ft. to approx. 6 sq. ft. of space which equaled $33 a square foot! When I approached them to request my full 40 sq. ft. they informed me they did not have the space and I would have to wait until another vendor pulled out. Meanwhile, they would not agree to reduce my rent. Since my area was so small, I was not able to display all my merchandise either. Even after offering to pay the next month's rent in an effort to work out a new agreement, they became upset and told me I could pack up my things and leave. And when I called my husband to tell him of the situation and that I would be late arriving home one of the owners demanded that I get off the phone and stop talking in her store. Really great but it does have a lot of stuff geared towards women than men. You can find clothing, soaps, office products, whatever. There's different vendors and you never know when they might change out. There's cheap and expensive so you don't need to worry about not finding much that's affordable. I've thought about becoming a vendor for this place at some point in the future but I will have a lot of tiny objects and since its mostly vendors that sell things that mostly women like, I doubt I would be getting any business. I don’t even know exactly were to start. This business is so great in more than one way! I am a vendor in their store and love every bit of it! They are fair, very informative and very easy to work with! Jennifer, Jackie, Pam and what they have done with Mother Cluckers Downtown is amazing.
