Another Pour Decision Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Victoria

So last night we had our work Christmas party at this place. We called several days ahead of time to ask what time they stopped serving food and the response was the kitchen closes at 10pm but we stay open until 2am. We didn't want to be a bother to the kitchen staff cuz we know how it is so my boss also picked up a menu ahead of time so we could all write down what we wanted to eat. I got there around 855pm ordered everyone's food and mostly everyone else got there around 925pm. I didn't get the name of the pretty blonde haired waitress but she was awesome up until there was a problem with our food order and she never came back. When she brought the plates out she said I have 2 chicken fried chicken plates with mashed potatoes and okra. Another coworker and I had the same thing so I said I have one and the girl in the black coat does too. When they brought out the chicken fried steak she asked who had that and my coworker sitting next to me did so she responded it was hers. When the food was brought out everything was cold but oh well everyone just started eating. It took me a minute to cut mine because I was debating if I should just ask for a to go box and heat it up at home. So I finally cut into my chicken fried chicken and it was chicken fried steak. The lovely waitress asked if we wanted it remade we said yes please and this was around 935pm. She took the 2 plates back and the kitchen personal came back with the plates and said they couldn't be remade because the fryers were off. I told her how is that our fault that the server mixed up the plates? Then she suggested we just switch plates but the problem was my coworker had already ate some of the food and she was still like y'all can just switch out the meat. Like lady what don't you understand she ate off of it. So she brought my coworker the plate I cut into and I just didn't eat. Then she finally offered me a club sandwich but I already had lost my appetite and after all that it was barely 949pm. If you work at a business and your kitchen closes at 10pm you should not turn your equipment off until 10pm at least that's how it goes at our job. They did take the plate off the ticket and added themselves a 20% tip. Which we asked the new waitress if they added it or that was just a suggestion. It was kinda dark so it was hard to see. I made a comment the other girl was our waitress first and I think I offended her because she said I'm not getting any of it but I was just trying to say that I think they should share because she did a good job when she took over but I just left that alone they can work that out themselves. With all that being said a simple I'm sorry about that or I apologize for the inconvenience would have been better than rude employees with bad attitudes saying then they dont need to eat. My employees and I wanted to try a different spot for our Christmas party.I made arrangements at this location.I was told the kitchen close at 9 pm but they would keep it open til 10 pm to give some employees time to close our location and arrive at our party at the same time as the other employees.We work at a restaurant so we understand what it means to wanna close and go home,so we put our order in early.When our food came out they got 2 of my employees meals wrong,this happened around 9ish.I was told the fryer was off so they weren't able to cook one of my employees meal so she was at the party but did not get to eat.Our mashed potatoes and green beans were cold😭😭You do the math!!! Experience excellent service from a family owned business that welcomes you and treats everyone like a friend. Perfect place for a special event. Recommend the stuffed hamburger steak. Great cocktail menu too! The staff were all coming around to freshen drinks and made sure we got everything we asked for our group of about 40-50 people. BONUS: A daughter of this family makes clothing. She made a cute Independence Day outfit for my 19 month old granddaughter while we were there. Now that is excellence!!
