Appalling Golf Course Appalling dishonesty by the manager. After disscussing our concerns and being offered 2 free rounds on a golf course that is simply a patch of dry grass and dirt we were eventually offered and guaranteed a refund. He claimed not to be available till today so we waited as a courtesy . We went over and he flat refused any refund claiming “to much time had passed” after him asking us to wait until today. This man is a conman, he and his front store staff are incredibly dishonest and the Golf Course is a disgrace for $50 per person it truly is disgusting. Please read the review below and whatever you do, if you do not want to be fleeced and conned do not play this patch of dirt he claims is a Golf course YOU WILL BE BITTERLY DISAPPOINTED! It has been Quite a while since I have encountered such a dishonest person, blaming absolutely everyone but himself .

Absolutely appalling Condition, zero maintenance on any of the fairways, huge patches of hard dirt everywhere , debris all over, dogs roaming around , children playing on the fairways . If you were to use your irons on this course they WILL get damaged. Both of the Golf Carts we were supplied with broke down, we had to push one off the road we were crossing from fairway to fairway. A really disappointing experience for the astonishingly overpriced $50 each for the round. There are no bathrooms! One portapotti for everyone!!! But worse of all was when we got back to club shop and raised our concerns and asked for just a partial refund they refused point blank defending the course as “one of the best in the high desert” delusional doesn’t get near to the actual condition of the course. The cherry on this particular cake was the response to us highlighting the difference between the photos the use , even on the score cards “well those aren’t actually photos of this course USED AS A DEFENCE !!! I am absolutely perplexed that there was no attempt to listen or assist or hear our concerns, they were shut down instantly. Don’t play this course , you will be appalled and disappointed and that is a guarantee.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Green Tree Golf Course, and I must say it's a true hidden gem. I would easily give it a solid 5-star rating.

The first thing that struck me was the stunning view. The course is beautifully surrounded by a safe and friendly environment, with a neighborhood that's as welcoming as it gets. The locals yield the pass to golfers, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that's hard to beat.

The layout of the course is truly unique. With both hilly and flat open spaces, it provides a comfortable and enjoyable game. It's incredibly easy to track your ball's progress, making for a more relaxed and enjoyable golfing experience.

While the grass is nice, there's room for improvement in the maintenance department, particularly in addressing the dry spots surrounding the main golf courses. However, I see immense potential here, especially with more focus on using recycled water and enhancing the landscaping. Some areas are currently dry with no grass, and I believe incorporating granite compounds could be a better solution than bare dirt.

Despite the minor maintenance issues, my overall experience at Green Tree Golf Course was incredible. I'm already planning to return next month. It's worth noting that the weather can be a bit unpredictable, so I'd recommend double-checking the forecast and dressing in layers, just in case.

Affordability is another plus. The prices are very reasonable, making it a perfect choice for playing with friends and family. The golf carts are fast, new, and modern, adding to the enjoyment of the game.

Turned away on a Wednesday afternoon because there were “no accommodations” [carts and tee times] and “I should have known better to call on a tee time” rather than book on the online reservation system that is offered and advertised. I was barely offered a hand written I Owe You after requesting a refund for a round of golf that I never played because of lack or resources this course had on hand. Gary the “Golf Pro” was completely unhelpful and offered no help other than repeating his title to the course that he gets to look after on week day afternoons. Can’t speak to the course itself because I was turned away with no refund, but…well… it’s Victorville. Trying to support the local business that I live near but doing the right thing and basic customer service doesn't seem to be established and/or present at this place of business. Currently I’m out the $140 dollars that I paid until the City of Victorville can manage to act on the numerous other complaints like mine about money not being refunded on goods or services that are not provided at the time of payment. I had to research on my own, after haggling again with Gary…”the Golf Pro” (don't forget that) to simply get information on whom I need to contact to get a refund. Again, this was reasonable request to a game of golf that was never played because the business could not accommodate. I was eventually able to get a hold of the Sierra Golf Management team with some sort of response and hopefully some sort of action soon. Will not be returning for my “free rounds” (that I paid for) and will not hesitate to share this most unpleasant experience with others. Shame on the management here, or lack thereof, and shame on the City of Victorville for letting business practices like this fall through the cracks even though multiple formal complaints have been made concurrent to mine.
