Purchase tires online from Costco was my first mistake. I ended up getting charged three times contacted Costco customer service online no one seemed to care. (Yes I understand how pre auth works). After getting that situated and my tires a week later. I contact Costco tire center about getting the tires put on and they say we take walk ins till 5PM and will be about 1 hr to 1 1/2hr process. I get there at 4:30PM. Wait in line for about 15 minutes. My tires are no where to be found. The employee named Juan goes to the back and locates my tires Then makes a rude comment and says we’ll just to let you know you probably won’t be out till 8:30PM. I let him know I called ahead of time and said that’s not what I was told. He said well I’m letting you know that’s what I’m telling you. After that, I said OK. I didn’t want to escalate the situation. The worker (Nicholas) at counter was helping someone that had an appointment for 5 PM, That customer canceled her appointment. So I asked the associate if I can take her appointment instead if possible. He explained, I can see what I can do. Within 10 minutes he got the keys for my car, we waited by the front entrance for them to call. Never received a call. At 8:20PM We go to see what is going on and they explain they tried calling at 6:59PM to let us know our car was ready. No paperwork in hand. Just the keys were provided to us. We inspect our vehicle To make sure there’s no damages on the rims. We noticed very visible damage request for an incident report, which was provided and filled out by the supervisor. I requested to see the call log from the tire supervisor Victor because he explained he called and left a message. He pulled up the call log he missed dialed the numbers. I had him call that number he missed dialed and it said the phone was disconnected. Received a call from the insurance company for the damaged to my rims to find out that they will not cover them. The whole experience is unbelievable. I felt mistreated and disrespected. No apology was given not even for calling the wrong number. I never thought I would be the one to not recommend Costco. I would say, if you do get your tires here take before...

On 06/02/2024 around 2:45 As I was getting closer to the exit, an older Caucasian guy named Albert was at the exit gate checking receipts. He was letting Caucasian people in front of me exit the building without any issues. He would not count their items or stop them for prolonged time.
When it was my turn, he stopped me and started questioning me about my items. I only had 9 items, and he had my receipt, but he kept counting and recounting and looking back at the receipt and kept insisting on counting them several times saying he was doing it to help me. He gave me my receipt back and stared at me and requested the receipt back, so he looked at it again. I told him why he was holding me in line for way too long when he had counted them several times while the Caucasian ones before me clearly had more items than me, and he did not hold them in line like he was doing with me. He said he was doing it to help me while questioning me about certain items in the grocery cart. I told him to look at the receipt and count them as many times as I wanted because he was obviously for some reason treating me differently than the previous shoppers and I wanted to know what was the difference between the previous shoppers and myself. He raised his voice at me telling me again that he was doing it to help me.
I requested to talk to the manager. When she got there, she got to witness how rude and unprofessional Albert was by raising his voice at me in front of her. The manager apologized for Albert's behavior, but he's the one that needs to change his attitude and apologize for his behavior, and not the manager who has to deal with or face upset shoppers due to certain employees' beliefs.
To make things worse, I was the one that ended up being surrounded by Costco employees and security like if I was in the wrong while he kept engaging with the shoppers. I recommend to everyday shoppers that go to this Costco that as you approach the exit, if you see an older Caucasian man who could be Albert at the exit, prepare your camera so you can record how he will treat you differently than he would treat...
Read moreI was grieving the death of a family member but still had to make a trip to Costco. I was so distraught that I misplaced the receipt I was given for my purchases. I stood in a very long line, apologized to the employee at the exit door, and explained that I had misplaced my receipt. Their reaction was horrific! They told me that I would have to step aside and wait until they could confirm my purchases. I was on my way to a very important meeting concerning the death of my family member and told them I could not wait for them to verify my receipt because I would be late. They told me if I did not wait, they would call the police. I told them that I would welcome that since I had only purchased one item and it would be easily verified that I had not stolen it. Embarrassed and humiliated, I proceeded to my car. As I was getting into my car, two employees came to the car and told me that I could not leave. A security officer and a small vehicle blocked me from being able to leave. I asked for their names, and took pictures of the employees and the officer that was blocking my exit. At that point they backed away and let me leave. I was deeply grieving a close family member, two friends had also passed away that week. I was beside myself with grief, yet I still stood in line, apologized, and explained that detaining me would cause a hardship. I don't know what more I could have done to accommodate them. After that, whenever I had to shop there, I was under a tremendous amount of stress and have since begun to go much further to do my shopping I don't shop at this Costco anymore. My concern is that I'm a capable adult, however, what would the situation have been like if it had been my autistic grandson, or my father who has some dementia. Their most senior employees are rewarded by allowing them to work the door. I believe they would benefit greatly by putting their inexperienced, yet enthusiastic, and friendly newer employees at the door instead of their burnt out, tired...
