This is our personal experience at this restaurant at the time of service. (August 30, 2025)
We've been here twice once before the remodel and once after the remodel. The first experience before the remodel was like 2 stars or 3 stars. Bad customer service before the remodel. After the remodel it was much better in customer service. It was still lacking a bit. First the waitress was attentive and nice but we had to asked her politely 2-3 times to refill our water. We made sure to place our water when it's almost empty to the front of our table so she will notice but every time she ignores it. She was a bit annoying. She kept asking how are we doing when literally we have our mouth full of foods that made it hard to reply back. Plus all the times she came to our table to ask us how we've been doing never once she thought of refilling our water cups. I was dying of thirst but luckily my significant other decided to ask her politely for a refill. Especially when I was stretching the water out until we can get her attention to refill our water. She told us the pitcher is heavy to carry around so she will bring it shortly. I do understand that, so we brush it off since they are busy. But it happened the whole time we sat there eating not once she offered to refill our water cups without us calling for her attention to refill. Our grill dirty. She also never gave us our rice paper that we asked for politely in the beginning of our meal. She told us they are prepping it but she never brought it to us throughout the whole time we were seated there eating. I just don't understand that. She could have told us directly if they don't have any at all or so. We decided to remove one star for the service mainly because we have to ask for a refill of our water cups. The food isn't all that fresh in my opinion. I had diarrhea while still eating at the restaurant. It had to come out right away during the meal. And once more at home. The marinated meats taste a bit off for certain one in my opinion. The only fresh tasting meat was the sliced frozen meats and non marinated meats in my opinion. I wished they had a selection of dipping sauce for the non marinade meats. Or at least some salt n pepper seasoning or so. I think they had soy sauce but you have to asked the waiter and waitress for it. I made my own dipping sauce with whatever they had at the bar station. I do love the idea of having the unlimited self-serve meat bar, vegetable bar, and banchan bar but sadly no ice cream or dessert for ending the meal off beside oranges and can pineapple. My significant other and I felt a bit off though when we overheard one of their employee injure themselves badly that needed to go to the hospital for stitches. It made us lost our appetite while overhearing the incident. I hope the employee is ok after getting the stitches. We were seated in the private room area with a few tables which was awesome. I love the privacy but the distance to get up and grab the self-serve bar section was a bit far but not too bad compared to the other seating location in the restaurant. I definitely recommend this location for anyone craving all you can eat Korean BBQ in the inland empire with an unlimited self-serve bar section for lunch specials of $19.99 from 12pm-3pm as of right now. WARNING ⚠️⚠️⚠️ They automatically charge gratuity 15% even if it's only 2 people. They charge $15 for leftovers if it's a whole plate of meat or so. If it's a little leftover you will not be charged. 🛑🛑🛑 You can be your own judge and give this place a try!! This will be our 2nd choice of an all you can eat Korean BBQ locations. Our first location is a place called Koreana Grill buffet style restaurant located in Riverside, CA on Magnolia Avenue the best all you can eat Korean BBQ with unlimited everything. I love Koreana Grill buffet style restaurant (You should check that place out. You'll definitely fall in love with the assortment of dishes and they have self-serve...

For some reason no one is expected to wash their hands regularly to avoid cross contamination when dealing with raw meat. The prep lady in the back (Kim) also touches everyone’s food with no hand protection. For example, if you want to order French fries for your kid she’ll pick out the ones she feels aren’t good with her fingers. They use the same rag to clean tables to clean up raw meat juice and there is no hand sanitizer bucket being regularly replaced to keep things clean. It is also very cold in the restaurant due to the manager (Peter) not wanting to spend extra money hence why there is so many people complaining of the cold environment while eating. Soju is also overpriced and you’re better off getting it from the liquor store on 11th and bear valley for $4.99. They also leave dishes in the back if they close too late causing roaches to come. The grills need to be replaced but the owner is too cheap or unaware to fix them even tho it takes forever to cook when only one side of the grill is lit. They charge automatic gratuity even when the servers are rude. (They can take off the gratuity so if they tell you they can’t bc of the system they are lying) The lead server (Maritza H.) likes to drink with customers and also likes to give the underage staff member’s alcohol as well.( The manager Peter is aware and simply told her to stop instead of writing her up) If you call to see when last seating is done she likes to tell you at least 30-60 mins (last seating is at 8:30pm btw) before then so she doesn’t have to deal with last minute customer bc they tend to “not tip well”. She also discriminates against people of color bc they “don’t tip well” and they’re “loud and rude”. She’ll also charge extra gratuity on bigger tables if she finds you being “difficult” towards her. The handicap stall in the restroom is always out of service bc they simply won’t fix it. It’s constantly smoky during dinner hours bc instead of changing grills regularly they get grease fires and like to douse the grill that’s on fire with baking soda, which gets all over your table and food. Honestly is just better to avoid this place due to food hazards and safety hazards. Avoid this place!!! TRUST ME I KNOW WHAT...
Read moreSince we moved up to the high desert this was the only decent AYCE KKBQ. They charged $18.99, after a few years then went up to $26.99, after Covid they went up to $35.99. Of course cause they can monopolize. So we started going down the hill in Rialto/Ontario/Rancho areas for AYCE KBBQ because the meat quality is just unmatched, and the price in comparison just didn’t make sense as down the hill even GEN only charges $26.99 with way more variety. And with a larger size family, we couldn’t keep paying $300+ to have dinner as a family anymore. But due to the weather my husband and I decide to just come here for a date. We arrived at 8pm on Monday and were told that last call would be at 8:30pm though they close at 9:30pm, I said that was fine as long as the service and food kept coming. It was almost as if she was discouraging us to not eat there. That should’ve been our warning sign, as she sat us down, it took forever we didn’t get our meat till 8:13pm…with only 17 mins left to order another round but she never came back and any requests for sides it was as if she was bothered, and still took long approaching us as she got off from texting on her phone. We had to try and flag another server to try and help us who seemed bothered. Our server returned with the items we asked from the other server and she seemed upset we asked for items from someone else when she kept disappearing…there was literally only four tables, 2 for one server and 2 for the other… The service was terrible, I’m not sure if they’re under new management but I don’t ever remember it being like this. And when it cost over $86 for two people to include our drinks, I expect better service. That wasn’t all…it was so cold in there that you can see the fog from our breaths. When we went up to pay at the cashier I looked at the thermostat and it was 51 degrees when it was already 31 degrees outside…so cold inside that it was very uncomfortable to eat. I don’t know if this was a tactic to get people out of there fast, but I swear we caught a cold from that night. I WILL NEVER COME...
