We had a craving for seafood one hot spring day. We decided to try out Las Islas Marias. We had a Paella, Shrimp Empanadas, and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. The food all looked delicious, but it lacks flavor. When these dishes are averaging more than $20 a plate, you expect flavor. The ceviche had too much lime and pepper. Out of all the dishes, this is the simplest to make but too much lime juice and pepper ruined it( I've never had pepper in ceviche...) The Paella rice was pretty good, I would order it again if they improve the giant Shrimp. Their giant Shrimp was very stretchy and flavorless. The Shrimp empanadas looked appetizing but again very plain and no flavor. The dipping sauce helped but it was still missing something. The only plate our table was happy with was the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta. The drinks were great, both Aguas frescas and from the bar. The employees did a great job of putting in the orders and coming back to check on our table. Hopefully the kitchen employees can update their menu or recipes. The restaurant's atmosphere was very enjoyable, if they made some adjustments to their menu to could keep the restaurant full of customers.

Service was really nice. Our server was sweet and attentive. The restaurant was clean, and I was honestly pretty darn impressed upon first entering. The menu left us wanting more.. we were told that even though beans, tortillas, and cheese were on the menu... they do not sell bean and cheese burritos. That was a little whack. Then I order chicken and steak fajitas, which is a fair price with all the fixings... however it comes with NO fixings (standard is pico, cream, guacamole, and limes..) So, that was pretty disappointing. The cream side was around $3 and the guacamole was around $8.. just didn't feel worth it. Horchata was pretty good and served in jars.. which is nice. We got some to-go with no ice, and I swear that they watered it down.. again, pretty lame... All-in-all... it was OK. It's definitely worth checking out if you like Mariscos.

It is a nice seafood restaurant! I have been here several times, while visiting my relatives, in the High Desert region! The food is great, and they have a different variety of items to choose from. The wait time is not that long, and there is ample of space to sit down, and enjoy a meal. The last time, I have visited this place, was on the last day of 2021. The meal, that I have ordered, was quite delicious, also not expensive. At the same time, I would recommend to try out their margaritas, which are quite good. Although, they are on the expensive side, I enjoyed them. The staff working here are very helpful, friendly, and polite. So, if anyone enjoys seafood, I would recommend a visit to this establishment!

Food was awful!. Went with my family but not only was it bad two daughters got sick after. Shrimp was uncooked and also beans were canned beans. Tasted bad and over priced! Waitress never came back after serving. Tried to charge me $7 bucks for paying with my ATM once asked about the fee she stated that the owner was going to be sue for charging every customer this fee… she eventually removed it but also tried to give herself a tip of 25% which I refused to pay her since the service was awful! We also order two margaritas and they were like aguas not good at all. Even the soda tasted different which I didn’t even finish after tasting weird.

The most frustrating thing is the my kids got food poisoning after eating here. We are never...
